About the author
Chuck Wood is a systems consultant, instructor, and author with more than 10 years' experience in developing software in Java, PowerBuilder, C++, Visual Basic, and other languages.
Visual C++® 6 Database Developer's Guide is Chuck's most ambitious work to date. pl?idgbook:0-7645-3138-7:book-idg::uidg323">Visual J++ Secrets (IDG Books Worldwide), Visual J++, Special Edition Using PowerBuilder, and Special Edition Using Watcom SQL. He contributed to PowerBuilder 4, Client/Server Unleashed, and Special Edition Using Turbo C++ for Windows.
Chuck has also spoken internationally on database design, object-oriented design, and Windows development and has taught classes in Advanced System Development in Java and Web Database Development at the University of Minnesota and C and C++ at Indiana Vocational Technical College. He has a bachelor's degree in corporate finance and computer science and a master's degree in business administration. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in information and decision sciences at the University of Minnesota.
