Too bad they didn't take the time to edit this 2nd edition better. The main problems with it are:

- Question & answer and discussion sections are not "tight," and include extraneous, not boards-pertinent information (e.g.: "In 1982, Mulliken and Glowacki introduced a classification system of vascular anomalies. When did the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies accept this system?" Really!?!?). The discussion sections are probably twice as long as the other CRS books.
- There are errors in the discussion sections, some minor but annoying editing problems, some major (e.g., hydatid disease referred to as a result of Taenia solium egg ingestion. Come on...).
- The cases which have teensy tiny images of poor quality are a problem in their own right. However, in the question answers or discussion they don't even explain what you SHOULD be looking for on an image which is actually interpretable.

However, all of that said, I think it's a good starting point to review cases for boards as many of the cases are probably pertinent and are well-discussed.
