Biographie de l'auteur

Erica Sadun (@ericasadun) writes lots of books and blogs at TUAW. When not writing, she’s a full-time parent of geeks who are brushing up on their world domination skills. According to her academic dosimeter, she’s acquired more education than any self-respecting person might consider wise. She enjoys deep-diving into technology and has written, co-written, and contributed to dozens of books about computing and digital media. Sadun has also blogged at Ars Technica, O’Reilly, and Lifehacker.

Steve Sande (@stevensande) is considering an intervention to heal his addiction to writing. He’s the Hardware Editor at TUAW and has written millions of words for the blog. Steve has authored numerous books for Que, Take Control Books, and Apress, is married to a rocket scientist, and spends his days being bossed around by a cat. His gray beard and baseball cap can be seen every Wednesday afternoon at 5 PM ET on TUAW TV Live (http://www.tuaw.com/tag/tuawtvlive).

Sadun and Sande are the founders of Sand Dune Books and co-authors of the best-selling Talking to Siri: Learning the Language of Apple’s Intelligent Assistant

Just what I needed 30 décembre 2013

Pitch Perfect is an excellent and comprehensive guide to app developers and provides a great step by step of what you need to do to create a well crafted pitch for your product to send to media outlets, blogs etc. Lots of the tips and information included can be put into practice immediately which has made this a very timely guide and a constant companion for me recently.

A few of my favorite chapters:
- How blogs work
- The attractive product
- Crafting your pitch
- Pitching Do's and Don'ts
- Case Studies
- Worksheets and Checklists

The case studies provided in the book were excellent however, I would like to have seen even more case studies. Perhaps posted to the TUAW website.

Overall, I highly recommend this book. Well written, insightful and very helpful.

Has some great suggestions from people who actually review apps for a major Apple-oriented website. Very glad I read this.

Its really a good motivating book for developers telling the best ways to pitch the busy bloggers.
Well-meaning but irrelevant 11 octobre 2014

This book is helpful in terms of setting forth the guidelines to create a focused app review pitch plan. However, the material is dated because the app promotion process has changed and no longer matches the premise of this book. The book is in need of an update to stay relevant.

Obvious? 16 avril 2014

I like her books but unfortunately this is obvious information to any intelligent person. I feel bad for them (bloggers) having to deal with thousands of people who suddenly are "entrepreneurs" and have "made an app". It is a sad state for future business if these are our up and coming leaders.
