Biographie de l'auteur

Olivia Rosewood is a meditation counselor, yoga teacher, and writer. She is passionate about guiding meditation aimed at enhancing one's experience of peace within. Her most profound influence is Eckhart Tolle, with whom she has traveled and worked extensively, although she has meditated with many teachers all over the world. Always curious about meditation in its many forms, she experienced being a yogic nun in Ahmedabad, India, where she was fortunate enough to teach young children English. They were an essential part of the inspiration for her 7 spiritually inspired children's books, available now on Amazon as well as children's bookstores and museums. Being released in the summer is Illuminate: Adventures of Modern Meditator, which takes the reader on a exciting journey around the globe: from Fiji to India, George Harrison, Eckhart Tolle, Ammachi, taoists, gurus, celebrities, past lives, motherhood, and into the deep peace of being. Olivia was the writer for HarperCollins' Happy Yoga by Steve Ross, and she has consulted on several best selling self-help books. Regularly featured in the "Mindful Living" section of the Huffington Post, she includes guided meditation v-logs, also available on her YouTube channel, Please Meditate, within her blogs, with the aim of raising awareness and skill in blossoming meditators everywhere. She studied writing and theater at the University of Southern California, and enjoyed acting in several movies including Titanic and Almost Famous. She is a practicing yogini, meditator, and mom.

This is a magnificent book on meditation. Olivia has made a clear and simple explanation of the many ways one can meditate to find inner bliss, improved health, inner peace and clarity of mind. I love how Olivia gets the reader involved with how to experience their meditation by integrating a daily journal after each chapter as it's one thing to read about meditation, but putting it into practice is the vital key to experience the amazingly beautiful and maximum benefits of meditation.
I highly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in meditation and experiencing a truly blissful journey to inner peace. As Olivia says "If you don't try, you'll never know. So try! Please. Meditate.")

Excellent! A very comprehensive overview of many methods. This book contains something for everybody. As a novice, I have read many other writings about meditation, but this is the only one that has worked. If you are interested in meditation, yet are hesitant, this book will do wonders for you.
