About the author
Joseph J. Carr is the author of over 80 books and 500 articles on electronics topics, including many in the communications area. He holds B.Sc. and MSEE degrees, and currently works as an electronics engineer in avionics. His background includes airborne radar, electro-optical sensors, biomedical electronics, and communications. He is based in Virginia.
