If you have been tasked with delivering an intranet for collaboration, document management or as a corporate portal, your only chance for success is to get all of these elements right, and then to make sure that you and your stakeholders are all on the same page. The author has done a great job distilling the topic down to easy to understand chapters. SharePoint is a very complex platform and Ruven obviously has a wealth of real-world experience. I really enjoy the business problem perspective that the author brings to the book. A very pragmatic approach to very complex projects!! A must read for anyone undertaking a SharePoint project!!

The biggest failure for any SharePoint implementation is the failure in Information Architecture. Ruven nails it on the head with this book. It is an absolute must read for anyone trying to implement SharePoint! I've been preaching about IA for years now and this book has justified everything that I keep saying. Thank you Ruven for writing this.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 MVB - Most Valuable Book 20 novembre 2012
Par Björn Stenberg - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format:Broché
I've been consulting around SharePoint for the last 5 years and this is the single most valuable book I've come across; and, I've read plenty. It centers around the hardest part of a successful SharePoint project: namely that we loftily call Information Architecture. I like to explain it as mapping how you and your organization think and work to the functionality of the toolbox called SharePoint. Besides describing the problems at hand the author gives us lots of practical examples of how he has worked. I love the hands-on approach to these soft problems. I have been recommending this book to colleagues and customers for a while and will continue to do so.
