I am great at making plans but not good at following through with them. The author gave several suggestions for overcoming that obstacle and more. I found this book very helpful, informative, and full of practical ideas to becoming a more organized productive person.

If you are looking for an easy way to get things done and stop procrastinating this book will teach you just that. Jacob Westlin tells you how to get things done and not procrastinate, waiting til the last minute and end up feeling pressured and overwhelmed. When you have time consuming tasks to complete in a short time and not much time to do them you need to plan for them and work them into your already timeless schedule. It doesn’t matter if it’s personal or business it requires a process to include it into your daily routine.
Westlin gives you an example of three types of people and the results when they finish. I myself found that I am a cross of two of these examples (which Westlin says is very possible). I like to get my research done so I get right to the point like person one, however, I tend to procrastinate on getting the final work done usually putting me under pressure to finish the task at hand. Since my children are all grown, I think as though it is now ‘my time’ and tend to procrastinate a lot. But I still have a husband that holds me accountable for certain things at certain times and so I need to learn to be more on top of things so that I don’t let him down and in the end I would really have ‘my time’ by getting those things done and out of the way.
I recommend this book for anyone needing some guidance in getting things done without feelings of pressure and learning to hold yourself accountable for meeting your accomplishments. In the end you will be able to live a stress free life while accomplishing everything you need to do.

This book “Procrastination: 13 Ways to Develop An Effective Time Management Mindset & Increase Productivity without Burning Out Or Getting Overwhelmed With Everyday Tasks” by Jacob Westlin has a long title but is packed full of practical tips on how to deal with procrastination. The bottom line, according to the book is to “develop a system that works for you: set goals, maintain organization, reward yourself along the way, and hold yourself accountable. These things, if taken seriously, will assure you of more productivity. In the end it’s up to you.” The ones that work for me are to go strong and take breaks; reward yourself (I play online poker) prioritize, organize, set goals and deadlines. In other words, I take a day to read a book and write notes, a day to write my review, and a day to review my review. Presto – here I am. Good book.

I wake up every morning and every morning I am overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done that day. Work, cleaning the house. If its my day off pay the bills and sometimes I just feel like leaving it for another day. Actually, not sometimes.. ALL the time lol. After reading this ebook it opened up my eyes to different ways I can stay focus and get things done without procrastinating. I have a thing about myself, that I get so caught up in the things that I am doing that it begins to stress me out, there’s a part in the book that told me, to take breaks. I know its something so simple to do, but when you are running around you don’t think about stopping for a second to catch a breath and continue after some breathers. Being organized is another way. I always wake up in the morning and just try to rush out the door. Not knowing whether i brought my bills, or my work uniform etc. I’ve rushed out the house without them both before. If I am just a little more organized and maybe have things layed out the night before I wouldn’t stress myself with it in the morning. Setting goals, being a little more motivated these are just some of the things it talks about. There’s so many things this ebook discusses. I loved it. Great, Great read! I definitely recommend it for someone with a super busy life. Lets get it together and become stress free. :)
