This sampler is a short guide with instructions for a few projects. While some of the projects seem a bit pointless (like the felt solar system), there are a couple that are truly unique (like the cat fur projects). Most of the instructions are a little vague or a bit difficult to understand, but with a little prior crafting knowledge, most people will be able to figure things out.

I saw it for free (since it is a sampler of their other books) and picked it up. Cute, inventive crafts that I haven't seen before. I loved the home made pop tarts, and the felted kitty frames.
It was formatted perfectly for the ebook, unlike other project books that were clearly for the web.
Much better on a color screen.

Very cheap craft ideas. I would not give as gifts. This is more for making with the kids for fun only.

Highly disappointing as a craft idea book. I have been doing crafts since I was 7 years old I am now in my 30's. I found nothing of use nor inspiring in this book. Sorry but its a waste of time even for ideas for kids.
My suggestion look on the internet under free craft ideas you will have better success there. All the book has going for it is colourful pictures.

I kinda liked the book, but I wish it was more focused. Some of the gifts sound cute, but I can't imagine giving those items to someone, or getting some of these as gifts.
The DIYs: Tiny Books (cute books, great directions) Cat Book Covers (needle felting cats to felt pieces) Lightning Tshirt (stenciling on a shirt using freezer method) Flower Sticks (paper flower cutouts on sticks) Vanilla-Bean Meringue Kisses (if this tastes good...recipe) Pink Champagne Cake (if it tastes good...recipe) Mallow Cones (if it tastes good, a good kids party recipe) Whale Onesie (stenciling on a onesie using freezer method) Temporary Tattoos (inkjet printer & adhesive, sounds fun) Cat Portraits (needle felting with YOUR cat's hair) Animal Cookies (regular sugar cookies shaped as animals) Dog Gadget Sleeve (felt ipod sleeve) Candy Charms (polymer clay made into candy, good directions) Inside-Out Cookie Dough Truffles (basically cake pops) Homemade Vanilla Extract & Vanilla Sugar (um?) Solar System Mobile (balls of wool yarn on strings) Mini Homemade Pop Tarts (recipe) Bottled Potions (glitter in tiny water-filled bottles)
Overall, I was disappointed by the variety, usually thats good, but this ebook needed some focus. I don't needle felt so those are 2 wasted ideas for me; freezer paper stenciling should only be listed once maybe plus an alternative; recipes should be in their own gift giving book. I wish this had been separate books with focus per medium, instead of all together. Plus these are not original ideas to the author, they are compiled from other books, while all cited correctly, I found that to be a disappointment. Much of this can be found online for free (stencils, polymer clay, etc), or you could go to the library and find books on each medium to get more ideas that way.
