A REIGN OF STEEL is Book #11 in the Bestselling series THE SORCERER'S RING, which begins with A QUEST OF HEROES (book #1)--a FREE download on Amazon, with over 400 five star reviews!

In A REIGN OF STEEL (BOOK #11 IN THE SORCERER’S RING), Gwendolyn must protect her people as she finds King’s Court under siege. She strives to evacuate them from the Ring—but there is one problem: her people refuse to leave. As a power struggle ensues, Gwen finds her queenship under challenge for the first time—while the greatest threat to the Ring looms.

Behind the McClouds lie the threat of Romulus and his dragons, who, with the Shield destroyed, embark on a catastrophic invasion, nothing left to stand between them and the complete annihilation of the Ring. Romulus, with Luanda at his side, is unstoppable while the moon lasts, and Gwen must fight for survival—for herself, for her baby, and for her people—amidst an epic battle of dragons, and of men. Kendrick leads the Silver in a valiant battle, and he is joined by Elden and the new Legion recruits, along with his brother Godfrey, who surprises everyone, including himself, with his acts of valor. But even so, it may not all be enough.

Thor, meanwhile, embarks on the quest of his life in the Land of the Druids, trekking across a fearsome and magical land, a land unlike any other, with magical rules out of its own. Crossing this land will require every ounce of strength and training he has, will force him to dig deeper within, to become the great warrior—and Druid—he was meant to be. As he encounters monsters and challenges unlike ever before, he will have to lay down his life to try to reach his mother.

Erec and Alistair journey to the Southern Isles, where they are greeted by all of his people, including his competitive brother and envious sister. Erec has a dramatic final meeting with his father, as the island prepares for him to ascend the throne as King. But in the Southern Isles, one must fight for the right to be King, and in an epic battle, Erec will be tested as never before. In a dramatic twist, we learn that treachery hides even here, in this place of noble and great warriors.

Reece, embattled and surrounded on the Upper Isles, must fight for his life after his vengeance on Tirus. Desperate, he finds himself united with Stara, each wary of the other, yet untied in a quest to survive—one that will culminate in an epic battle at sea and will threaten the entire island.

Will Gwen cross the sea to safety? Will Romulus destroy the Ring? Will Reece and Stara be together? Will Erec rise as King? Will Thor find his mother? What will become of Guwayne? Will anyone be left alive?

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A REIGN OF STEEL is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders.

Book #12 in the series--A LAND OF FIRE--is now also available!

“Grabbed my attention from the beginning and did not let go….This story is an amazing adventure that is fast paced and action packed from the very beginning. There is not a dull moment to be found.”

On one hand it is a lot of rambling repeated situations. On the other, she has managed to make every main character creepy, incestuous perverts, on the other hand, she has no concept of what she wrote the page before and on the final hand, on the fourth hand.... Talk about every bad cliché, mentally retarded logic, shallow, stupid and insipid emotional characterizations and just the fact that she has obliviously no clue how to end the series. Everyone is dead at this point, so I guess Moses in the basket will be the savior? Doesn't anyone love this woman enough to sit her down and tell her the truth? Morgan baby, your a friggin nut.

3.0 étoiles sur 5 Fun read, bad editing 30 janvier 2014

I have read all 11 of the books in this series so far and thoroughly enjoy the story and characters. What irritates me about this book, and also the other books in the series, is the editing or lack thereof.

There are many misspellings and grammatical errors but those I can live with, what is unforgivable is calling one character by another's name or just flat out getting the character's name wrong altogether. There are multiple examples of this in every book of this series and its a shame.

1.0 étoiles sur 5 Sounds like Thor in the 1st book 22 août 2014

I'm done with the series. In this book Thor finds out he has 12 more quests to complete. Give me a freaking break. This is the author's attempt to keep the story going and get more dollars from the readers. Also introduced in this book is another set of oppressed people with a boy who thinks he is destined for something greater. Sounds like Thor in the 1st book. Also the boy falls in love with a girl. Sound like Thor falling for Gwen. The author is bringing up the same store lines all over again. I don't care how the series ends because now it's boring. Goodbye Morgan Rice.

To repeat, this author is just mean! She treats her characters HORRIBLY; they can never get a break. It's just depressing, book after book after book, there's promise of improvement, but it never comes. Save yourselves a heap of frustration and stay away from this one.

3.0 étoiles sur 5 Editing is horrible!!! 8 juin 2014

Not sure how much more I can take. I truly enjoyed the first few books. Now, it's become so rushed and the plot so contrived that it's virtually unbearable to read. There's nothing wrong with ending a story when a story ends. There's everything wrong with dragging a story out either for monetary reasons or lack of a better idea. This one should have ended already. I don't care about Erec going off on his quest to get married and be king. In fact, I hope he dies just so I don't have to read the sappy romance between him and Alistair any more. There are way to many characters as it is. I've lost interest in most of them. The battle scenes are pretty much laughable at this point. One minute a character is fighting 100 vs 1 no problem and then it's 4 vs 9 and they are worried? 100 feet of rope fired by an arrow accurately and then 4 adults pull themselves through the water without the arrow breaking? Soldiers on shore jumping 30 yards to boats and just climbing aboard? The Empire burning everything in their wake as they march across the Ring. Eating what? A million soldiers need a lot of food. One day they are in Kings Court and the next they are on boats sailing across the sea to the islands. In "dozens" of boats? Thousands of people in dozens of boats? How big are these boats? There's just so much wrong and so little right anymore I'm not sure I can continue to read the series.
