I first discovered the cassette Balancing Your Body a few years ago, and fell in love with it. I lost it a few years ago and no longer have a tape player, so I was upset not finding it on CD. So I contacted the author and discovered that this is the CD version!! YAY!!
Mary starts with a set of "breathing lessons" that are out of this world. I have never come across a better set of instructions on how to breathe properly. It then moves through different areas of the body.
This is an excellent companion to a Rolfing, as well as a fantastic way to stay in alignment after finishing your serious.

Save your money and don't buy this CD. The voice is unpleasant, as non-hypnotic as possible, and reading the text so fast that you have no time to follow the instructions. "Coming back to your normal state now" sounds as a joke since it is impossible while using this CD to feel anything but irritation.

5.0 étoiles sur 5Most helpful -- complements Mary Bond's book of same title29 novembre 2012

This audio CD really helps if you're interested in trying the exercises described in Mary Bond's Book of the the same title. I first borrowed this book from the library, as I had heard about "rolfing" and wanted to know more. Then I decided I'd better purchase the book, and rather than make my own tape (oh my!!), I purchased this. I've gone thru all the exercises now and it's improving my flexibility, my walk and my stance. The exercises are not difficult, but help you to understand and feel how the feet connect to the ankle to the knee and to the hip ... helps to improve flexibility in the back and spine ... helps the hips ... helps you sit with support and rise from a laying position with support ... I suspended my Jane Fonda workouts until I go thru this a few more times, so that I can return with an improved form.
