About the author

Drew Knowles has been exploring, photographing, and documenting Route 66 for several years. His Route 66 photography has been exhibited in both the Texas and Oklahoma Route 66 museums, and many of his works are on permanent display in the MCIWorldCom call center in Springfield, Missouri.

Drew also operates a web site dedicated to backroads travel and American twentieth-century culture.
