Book Description
Holding an object right side up, Ruedi Baur will often suddenly turn it upside down and look at it from below--to see the whole. Integral thinking is a characteristic and essential element of Integral Ruedi Baur, one of Europe's most innovative design studios, and of its founder, Baur himself. Graphic design and architecture are inextricably and intelligently linked through his innovative signage programs, exhibition designs, and corporate design programs for companies and cultural institutions like Centre Pompidou, Paris, Musee d'Art Moderne et Contemporain, Geneva, and Centre Choregraphique national, Montpellier. Graphically, textually, and photographically dense, this publication presents documentation and thoughtful analysis of some of the most remarkable and functionally intelligent productions of Ruedi Baur Integral of the past few years.
