3.0 étoiles sur 5You will buy this book19 août 2008

Of course you will. You have no choice in the matter. The original Saab manuals are long out of print and rare as hen's teeth. So you will buy it, and you will join the legion of Saab 9000 enthusiasts who affectionately call it "the book of lies."
You will supplement your purchase with an Alldata subscription, because really, you will want accurate wiring diagrams and component placements.
You will become a denizen of [...] because the wealth of experience there will let you know when the book is true and when the book is false.
And with all those things, you should be able to get many miles of driving pleasure from your 9000.
But don't think for a moment that you can rely on the book alone.

This manual is typical Haynes with poor quality paper and hard to see detail in photographs. It is unfortunately one of the few such manuals available for this car and other foreign cars.

4.0 étoiles sur 5For your basic mechanic18 mai 2011
Par Karl Oswald - Publié sur Amazon.com
Great for quick little simple tune up procedures. Don't expect wiring, vacuum, or emissions schematics in legible charts. Just enough for a general idea. If you need specific torques ect, buy yourself the factory service manuals. Still handy to have around for a quick reference, on a budget or don't plan on having the vehicle long.

4.0 étoiles sur 5Nothing else compares24 juin 2008
Par Dale Skutt - Publié sur Amazon.com
Literally, nothing else compares. It's the only one! Seriously, though, anyone who owns a Saab should get the relevant manual, if available. Without this book, I would have spent either far too much money at the dealer or far too much time looking for a mechanic daring enough to work on a Saab.
The book binding is starting to come apart a bit after a couple years, and the photos and overall feel of the book is a bit unprofessional, but I've found it useful for its purpose. The difficulty ratings are junk, however. One repair which had a rating of "easy" had me to the point of beating my car and anthropomorphising the poor thing with creative profanity, whereas one "fairly difficult" repair took little time and effort. Use your own instincts to decide whether you want to tackle a task.

The book was described accurately. It will help to keep my very old but still running Saab on the road.
