Présentation de l'éditeur

Are you grieving the death of your loved one?
Do you struggle with your moods?
Are you open to the fact that your loved one continues on in spirit?
Do you want to feel better?
Then this is the book for you.

"Soothe Your Soul from Grief” has been written with the aim of helping the bereaved to heal from the overwhelming grief of the death of a loved one. After the death of her two year old daughter Lily to cancer in 2008, Erica felt compelled to share her stories of healing from grief. She has gleaned insights from her own suffering, from her dreams, in meditations and just in knowing that her little girl in fact never left her, although she is no longer physically oriented. Erica hopes you will find inspiration here to walk into your future accomplishing beautiful things knowing your loved one in spirit continues to walk beside you.

"Soothe Your Soul from Grief" promotes the concept that there actually is no "death". It promotes the concept that there is only the continuing existence of your loved one whose focus has just shifted from being in the physical body to now being focused entirely in Spirit or Heaven. It promotes the concept that your loved one in spirit is most definitely not "gone" but is right there loving you as they did before, right there waiting for their chance to communicate with you again.

The pain of grief is in the feeling that you have "lost" someone you love. If you can re-establish a new connection with your loved one then you can really heal in a deep and profound way. For the author personally as a mother whose first born daughter made the transition back to Spirit, just remembering her is not enough. Her focus is on feeling Lily with her and teaching her children to do the same. Her focus is on clearing her energy and taking responsibility for her moods, so that it is easier to feel Lily’s presence and recognise when she is around. Erica knows Lily chose at a deeper level of her being to have a short life for her own special reasons, she knows Lily chose her as her mother, and she emphatically knows that their bond of love continues whether Lily has a physical body or not.

“Soothe your soul from grief” is an inspirational grief-healing book divided into two sections.

The first section was written in the early days of the author’s grief. It contains an inspired and inspirational healing philosophy that got her through each of those devastating first days, weeks and months of bereavement with bite sized bits of hope. This powerful healing philosophy can help you to move through your grief and out the other side to peace and understanding.

The second part of "Soothe Your Soul from Grief” is a hand-picked selection of the author's own favourite stories which each demonstrate much of the philosophy in real life experiences with spirit. The stories are celebrations of spirit, lovely anecdotes, proof and confirmation from the author’s own life that we most certainly continue after we die. The stories are short and sweet and the aim of each one is to uplift. Even if you only get to read one story at a sitting, your mood will be improved and you will be better able to take the next step in your healing journey.

Erica’s hope is that her words will touch the hearts of those suffering the anguish of the grief and help soothe their souls.

I have already had the pleasure of going through Erica's Peace Lily Soul Soothing Cards for grief and now I have read her companion book - Sooth Your Soul From Grief. Having experienced grief recently myself through the loss of my husband, Erica's wisdom and inspirational stories resonated with me. Losing a spouse is hard enough, but I cannot even imagine what it must feel like to lose a child. Erica' strength shines throughout the entire story as she guides you through ways to carry on, taking care of yourself while not losing sight of your loved one in spirit. We can feel peace and happiness in the knowledge that our loved ones are not only okay, they are still with us, walking along beside us until the day we will be reunited again. And that is a huge blessing. Thank you Erica for baring your soul and sharing your Lily with us. Lynda Matthews, "A Breath Away"

Wow. Erica Farrimond gives her entire heart with this book. I know the pain of grieving the loss of my dad, my grandmother and 2 beloved cats. In all cases, as hard as it was and as painful as it was, there is a belief that our parents die before we do and that our pets are ours only temporarily. But losing a 2 year old child to cancer? There is no rational explanation to that. There is no way to justify a loss like that to soothe our pain. However, Erica gives her ALL to do just that.

Soothe your soul from grief is Erica's story of love and loss. I'm not a mother but can guess that a parent's loss is devastating. Erica shares her journey through grief in a way that left me looking at "the big picture." Meaning, that out of loss and hurt, we can grow as human beings. That every pain in our life is necessary for the person we are meant to become. While this might not seem like consolation to a griever, Erica gives SO MUCH MORE. Her belief, that we don't die, and that her dear daughter is still near and she can feel her presence. That her daughter Lily is not suffering, and is instead living in a great place, still her daughter and her soul mate. That we should not fear death but know it is just our souls returning home and we will be together again with our departed loved ones. Erica gives great stories of her own revelations and stories that comforted me.

Even if the above don't ease the pain or soothe you...Erica gives advice from what worked for her, to ease her pain. I know first hand that a mind that can escape from the thoughts of loss can begin to heal. Whether getting creative, being outside in nature, loving a dog, learning to meditate or quiet the mind, creating places of joy....they all help soothe the pain. In fact, there is so much information in this book that the reader has choices. Many things Erica offers to soothe the pain, adding that to her view of the Hereafter and belief our loved ones are not gone, this book is comforting to someone who has had a loss. I recommend it. -Sandra Champlain, author of the #1 international bestseller, We Don't Die - A Skeptic's Discovery of Life After Death

5.0 étoiles sur 5 A hopeful must-read for anyone on a journey of grief and loss. 25 novembre 2013

Through the journey of my profound grief in losing my 23 year old son, I came across a Facebook site called Soothe Your Soul From Grief - Peace Lily hosted by Erica Farrimond. My heart resonated with every writing Erica posted. I was hungry for more. When I discovered that Erica had authored a book entitled Soothe Your Soul From Grief, I was delighted and jumped at the chance to purchase it and devour its content. Anyone who is grieving and perhaps feeling lost in that grief should give this book a read. Part 1 of the book features 45 small chapters of healing philosophy. My son passed 3 years ago. I so wish I had this book to read in the beginning. Child loss in particular is a lifetime journey, so even 3 years into it, I find these chapters very helpful. Part 2 features healing stories inspired by Erica's daughter, Lily. Actually these stories were my favorite part of this inspiring book. Author Erica has found a beautiful way to channel her grief into an inspiring book that offers help and hope to anyone experiencing grief and loss. This book comes with my highest recommendation.
