Présentation de l'éditeur

Tori Spelling continues to share her unique and very public life adventures-good and bad-complete with four kids, daredevil husband Dean, a tight circle of friends, invasive cameras, and an infamous mother-with warm candour. Offering fans the latest updates on her whirlwind of a life balancing parenthood with the pressures of living in Tinseltown, including: continual tabloid scrutiny of her weight; the truth behind the latest headline-making feud; becoming a mini-mogul via her many business ventures and lines; the evolving relationship and health scare of Tori's baby nurse Patsy; her marriage to Dean McDermott; a nostalgic visit to the new 90210; and life-after a complicated and life-threatening delivery-with new baby Finn.
Whether she's writing about changing diapers, escaping from the paparazzi, feeling pressure to do it all-with high style no less-or wondering why nearly all her former 90210 cast members seem to hate her, Spelling reveals candid glimpses into her celebrity life with the wit, attitude, and humour that her millions of fans have come to know and love. --Ce texte fait référence à l'édition Relié .

Ce livre est le moins interressant des 4, mais en grande fan de Tori, je n'ai pas put m'empecher de le dévorer...

Dean needs to get a J. O. B. great read but frustrating 26 octobre 2013
Par Parks Family - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Format Kindle Achat vérifié
Very quick and easy read. What I like about Tori's books is that she really tells it like it is but shes in total denial. Her family moves several times as they can't afford their current house(s). Then then when they decide they can't afford a Christmas vacation....one comment from her children on Christmas Day about the lack of snow and she's desperately looking for a holiday condo in Tahoe. When she doesn't like the 3 bedroom condo she has rented cause you can't ski from the front door to the slope...she's uprooting the family mid vacation and moving into the HYATT. Even though they have NO money. Ridiculous.
AND can someone tell me what does Dean do for living apart from moving from hobby to hobby??? I mean if he's at home taking care of kids while Tori works power to him. BUT throughout the book Tori talks about the baby nurse, the part time nanny, the full time nanny and the live in housekeeper....so what's Dean doing? Get a paying job and help out.
Though Tori admits her issues with money she does nothing about it. I liked the book but I wanted to shake some sense into her.

A Very Honest Book 22 février 2014
Par DNI - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié Achat vérifié
I've enjoyed all of Tori Spelling's books, she has a great sense of humor and doesn't take herself too seriously. This was probably the most honest of her books, dealing with a very serious and scary time in her life. She doesn't spare any details when talking about the struggles she went through in her last pregnancy and the health risks she endured. It's a very interesting story about what can happen to your body when you get pregnant again 1 month after giving birth. It's a miracle her baby Finn survived and that she made it through that pregnancy. She is a fighter and a strong woman. She also talks a lot about her constant desire to move homes and their struggles to live within their means when she never had to worry about such a thing her entire life. Reading this book now, knowing she is going through a real cheating scandal with her husband Dean made the story more sad, but also a view behind the curtain to see what might have lead him to make such selfish & poor decisions cheating on Tori. Her life never seems to slow down. Her mind is ALWAYS on what her next job will be, how to do it and do it best. Plus be a mom with dangerous pregnancy complications on top of that. I got the impression that although she loves Dean dearly, she may have unknowingly pushed her husband aside for her work and her kids. She is the bread winner of the family, so you can't blame her for go-go-going all the time, but she needs to find some balance & learn to actually stop when she has a free moment & not decide to move again or think or another new project.

This is an enjoyable book and as a reader, I appreciate her humor & her honesty.

Such an honest and funny read 27 novembre 2013

This girl is so underrated. People can diss Tori all they want, but the truth is... She is just a very funny girl.
Some network needs to give her a sitcom. The story about the nice old couple had me laughing out loud.
Kudos to her for being so completely honest.

Not as good as the others 27 janvier 2014

She seemed so superficial in this book. She had a terrible pregnancy and went through quite an ordeal but the way she talked about things just didn't compare to the Tori from her previous books.

Spelling Mistakes 27 mai 2014
Par Roman Descendant - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Relié
I have read all of Tori's books and consider this one as entertaining as her first one was. Among other episodes, the book details serious health issues and a string of unfortunate real estate blunders. Throughout it all, she is the warm, terribly fearful, impulsive, creative, compulsive, and very likeable woman that she was as a young girl in the first book.

However, after everything she has gone through, Tori is still so ill-equipped to face real life that four children in six years----almost serial pregnancies----aren't enough to prevent her from "freaking out" at the idea of her husband's getting a vasectomy. Also, it bothers me that she appears to confuse intimacy with family members showing off their bowel movements and that she allows her son to have any level of knowledge of his little sister's private parts. There's a reason that some things are private property, Tori.

In spite of this, there is so much good to be said about a mother who is so loving towards her children and a person who is so involved in animal rescue. Tori needs some good advice and wise counsel. I hope she gets it.
