Well, exactly same for me : I purchased thinking it was the 6th volume of the novels. But it was actually the 6th of the MANGA serie. I was mistaken because of the missing "(manga)" label after the name, unlike the other manga of that series.
I would also have reviewed this product lower than 5 stars would it be some other series, but since the animes, the manga and the novels are so good, it deserves even more than a 5 stars label !
But Amazon doesn't deserve more than a 2 stars labels on this shipping, for being inconsistent with the nomenclature of its books and manga.
Anyway I was about to order the manga as well. So not a big deal, just gonna wait for the novel now ^^

I had already bought the other volumes of this manga and read them all multiple times. The series is stellar, and this addition to it is great as well. Koume's artwork never ceases to impress. Be aware, readers, that this volume does not present any part of the next arc, but instead features two "aftermath" bonus chapters after the end of the current (smuggling) arc.

According to the sites that I have found online, this Manga was to come out March 27th. This is even stated on the products page, as well as another page of the product is only available for pre-order. So, I am incredibly happy to have the product right now! As for the manga itself, another great installment!

I purchased thinking it was the 6th volume of the novels. This is actually volume 6 of the MANGA. Every other book in the series is labeled "spice and wolf volume X", and every manga in the series is "spice and wolf volume X (manga)" except for this one. This since it is not labeled manga, I assumed it was the novel. I normally would review this product lower than 5 stars, but since I love the series so much, I really can't bring myself to do it. So remember this is the manga, and if you want the book go here Spice and Wolf, Vol. 6. Note the novel won't go on sale until late june
