Kasia specializes in weight loss and maintenance, food allergies, health promotion and disease prevention. Besides writing about food and well-being, Kasia works and has extensive experience in the field of Mental Health specifically in the areas of eating disorders, addiction, depression and anxiety. Kasia is passionate about cooking, horseback riding, reading, travel and outdoor sports.

What's not to like about this book? Nothing. It's great. It have tons of recipes, explanation of the nutritious ingredients for each smoothie and the calories. All recipes are for 1 serving, so the author suggest to prepare some in zip lock bag in advance to make it easier to prepare and fast to make. I also like the way the smoothies are presented by type. You have the post workout recovery, protein boosters, fat fighter & metabolism boosters, immunity booster, anti-aging & cancer protection and healthy treats. I tried the Forever Young recipe, it tasted great. Loved it. Thanks for a great book.

This is not your ordinary smoothie book. It's also a health resource. The author, who is also a Registered Nurse, knows what she's talking about! Kasia not only shares delicious recipes, but also teaches the importance of eating healthy.

I really like how she explains the "glycemic index" (which is important for monitoring sugar levels). Also the list of SUPERFOODS is a great list to have.

I also liked how she organized her recipes for "post workouts", this is perfect for me because after the gym. I can just go right to that section and quickly blend up a super healthy smoothie! Great resource if your looking to eat healthy and stay fit!

This is a great collection of recipes which are categorized very well. The combination of ingredients are easy to prepare and go well together. I have even learnt and researched about new foods like Matcha green tea and Spirulina powder.
After making these smoothies, my husband and I felt like a million dollars. I'm so glad I invested in this great book. Thanks.

This is a decent book about healthy smoothies. The list of super foods is very informative and most of the smoothies featured in the book are based on these super foods. Nutrition facts about each recipe are also very valuable info. Book is well written and recipes are well organized by their health benefits such as metabolism boosters, cancer fighters, immunity boosters and many more. I highly recommend this book for people who are serious about their health.

One remark - should explain that the items can come in many forms - as the tea, hemp and others come in powder form and that is one to use. Many brands of Chia seed and some do not need to be soaked in order to use them in the drink. But the packaging is not very clear - need more details like that.
