About the author
Clark Campbell is the head mens and womens swimming coach at the University of Evansville in Indiana. He spent seven years as a professional triathlete. He was the 1986 national long Course Champion and the runner-up in the United States Triathlon Series national championship in 1990. He has been a collegiate swimming coach since 1992, including stops as an assistant coach at Kansas and Minnesota before coaching at Evansville. Campbell holds a B.S. in exercise science from the University of Kansas and an M.S. in physical education/athletic coaching from West Virginia University. He and his wife, Cassie, reside in Newburgh, Indiana.
A competitive age-group triathlete and race director, Mike Vickers owns Lawrence Triathlon, Inc., a sports management company that runs the LMH Triathlon in Lawrence, Kansas, and the USAT national championship in St. Joseph, Missouri. He and his wife, Caylen, live in Lawrence, Kansas.
