Présentation de l'éditeur

"Though "Looking Glass" and "Underground" are better known this book is later on in his career and in this humble opinion much better. Having all the nonsense, music, and puzzles in earlier books this shows how far advanced he had come in in writing. He knew he was a child's author but he also knew that parents where more likely to be reading to the children. Especially women, so he added not only a nonsense story set in a fairy land but also a love story (though Victorian in nature) to run almost parallel to that one, and a story of a patient with an illness that is thought to be of the heart. As the story unwinds images and quotes from one story intertwines with the other and soon you loose your self in the words and images as you soon find yourself stopping and paging back to see how you got from here in real life, into the fairy world and back again. In the end the story ends on twist that leaves you thinking "no this can't be all!" Fear not reader for there is a sequel "Sylvia and Bruno Concluded" where the stories continue in the same vein except that somewhere here they no longer run parallel and intertwine but the characters begin to interact. Could this fairy world be real?" - BJ Niegowski Amazon Reviewer

I'm not reviewing the story but this kindle edition. The title is misleading: the text is actually the sequel "Sylvie and Bruno Concluded". The formatting is annoyingly bad in patches.
