I bought this book recently because I was headed to vacation and I was invited to play golf in South Carolina. I suck at golf - that's putting it nicely. I bought it in hopes that I'd at least be serviceable on the green. Surprisingly, it worked - I won't lie and said I was the next Lee Trevino but I was better and with practice I could be good. Reading The Golf Swing was the catalyst for me improvement.

Arthur C.T. Wong breaks it down on how to develop a swing - I needed it that. I was all power and a low contact percentage. I calmed down my body and developed an approach that is more accurate and fluid. I concluded that I was so focused on looking cool instead of having a solid swing. I focused on the approach and the fundamentals - BOOM - improvement. This book showed me the way.

For something that appears simple it takes longer that a regular how-to or manual. I appreciate the detail here. It's informative and still pretty concise. I'm looking for more than an infographic but less than an almanac. This book is expertly crafted.

Check it out if you want to develop or refine your golf game/swing.

This is a GREAT step-by-step book. It really breaks down the mechanics of the swing. The pictures are just great; especially the up close pictures of the grip. The common mistakes section is helpful and should be copied and kept in a golf bag. The drills at the back of the book are very useful.

I want to learn golf, but could not spend too much money for coaching. This book's table of contents dragged me to buy this guidebook on the golf swing. All three parts of this book are really constructive. During reading this book, I never feel uncomfortable or underestimated or feel something like that my eagerness to play golf is unreasonable. Beginning from the general principle of motor learning through the different swing positions, each chapter is quite informative, well written and interesting. My most favorite thing of this learning tool is its originality. In addition, the author's encouragement learns the art of golf swing inspires me. The two appendixes are amazing addition. The list of common mistakes makes me more careful about my usual faults those I have usually made as a new player. I enjoy my reading. Hopefully you would definitely like this flawless book.
