From Library Journal
This is a breezy narrative of a typical RV (recreational vehicle) tour of Alaska and the Yukon by a retired California couple. It is full of CB chatter, jokes, the names of people encountered and even of some of the drinks and dishes consumed. Interspersed is practical information for those considering similar undertakings. Among the numerous travel accounts by visitors to Alaska this one is entertaining, but it is by no means authoritative or unique. Its appeal will be limited to RVers. For larger public libraries serving a mobile retired clientele, and as a supplement to the standard guidebooks.
