Ad good basic book on conducting technique, but decidedly influenced by European ideals and craft standards. I used this text with a new student and found it helpful but it did not have enough depth for the serious student. For the casual conductor or as a reference for observers, this is good.

a little spendy for a fifty page book but taught me a lot about conducting. I'll keep the book still for reference and so I can keep practicing the technique.
