“Generosity and compassion flow from Paul. His gifts help me find deeper connections to myself and to the world. His guidance is powerfully freeing, and, to me, indispensable.”
“In a world of would-be psychics making great claims for themselves with little evidence to back them up, Paul Selig is the real thing.”
— Rachel Pollack, author of 78 Degrees of Wisdom: A Book of Tarot
“Paul and his Guides somehow manage to transmit and then explain ancient gnostic revelations in simple language that anyone can understand. The result is a kind of handbook on how to access and use the creative or 'out-picturing' powers of language and thought (our 'knowing') and the deep, still unconscious divinity of humanity (our 'worth'). A magical book.”
—Jeffrey J. Kripal, J. Newton Rayzor Professor of Religious Studies, Rice University
“Through his clear, compassionate, and at times ruthlessly insightful spiritual guides, Paul Selig has written a breathtaking and powerful treatise on the importance of self worth to spiritual knowing. However, this is no armchair new age philosophy. It is a transformational manual dedicated to making this essential knowing accessible. I found this to be one of the most powerful and influential books I have ever read."
—Jose Luis Stevens Ph.D., Co-founder of The Power Path, psychologist, teacher,
and author of Secrets of Shamanism, The Power Path, and Awaken the Inner Shaman

Winner of the 2014 Nautilus Award represents “Better Books for a Better World”—the Silver Award in the category of Religion /Spirituality: Other Traditions.
In his third channeled text, Paul Selig—acclaimed author of I Am the Word and The Book of Love and Creation—brings us his most practical message yet.
Informing us that “you decide what you are worth,” Selig’s spiritual guides take readers through a program to understand our own inherent worth, and beat the fears that drain our inborn spiritual knowing..
Selig reveals that true understanding of our life’s purpose can be found through “service”—the practice of the thing that you most love. Readers can discover their own form of service through this powerful mantra: “I know who I am, I know what I am, I know how I serve.”

Paul’s first book reached me on a wave of light through a friend attending the Goddard program who knew I’d be heartened to learn that energy healing and channeled texts were finally breaking into academic life. At the time I was on the brink of leaving my academic position for any-kind-of-work where I could more openly pursue my own energy studies; the mere fact of Paul gave me gumption to be more daring. I was soon to learn, however, that gumption would not be required as the frequencies and thought coming through his first two books were so aligning they seemed to project me right into the new life without my having to rely on the usual efforts. The books did indeed make me vibrate and feel a mysterious shove into the new; but they were also immensely satisfying intellectually, helping me to bridge so many divisions in my dance between traditional Christian thought and New Age/ascension practices.
This third book in the series is an intensification of what came before, pushing the reader into new octaves that make the textual veil even more translucent. The affirmations seem more fine-tuned to reach and dissolve deeper resistances. The entities themselves seem to involve themselves more intimately and more urgently with the reader through interactive exercises. Paul’s presence in the text as reluctant and sometimes angry vehicle beautifully mirrors the doubts and struggles we all face in this transformative process that is certainly accelerating. One comes away from the reading feeling not only guided toward and ready for whatever unknown is on the brink of happening—but exhilarated, eager for the adventure.
Mitch Horowitz hits target when he calls Paul Selig “a kind of Stradivarius of the soul” through which the guides can play their notes. And I must add, there’s a touch of marketing genius in bringing the text out the week between Christmas and New Year’s when most of us are eager to launch self-improvement projects. I don’t mean “marketing” in terms of monetary profits, but in terms of the book having the best possible opportunity to work on those ready to receive it. What a gift to be able to bask in these rare ethers and renew oneself for what lies ahead. Thank you Paul!
He wrote back and explained that this is what the Guides, the loving teachers who dictated the words to Paul, had intended. That something in us would begin to shift as we responded to the frequency that is actually encoded within the words on the pages. I relished that book and read and reread it several times, each time having a new, heightened experience as I understood the lessons on deeper and deeper levels. My life began to shift significantly. Large issues came up and were resolved in powerful ways. It was hard work, but meaningful and lasting. I called that book my "Magic Book."
The second book, The Book of Love and Creation, reinforced and explained much of what had started manifesting in my life. Almost like a workbook, it both kept me on track and gave me new tools to employ. It became easier for me to form a clearer picture of what I want in my life. I felt more balanced, clear-headed, happy and ready for my life to become more beautiful than ever. When I finished it I felt like I needed more instruction. I had some great new tools in my hands, but I wasn't quite sure how to use them or what I was supposed to make with them. I was eager for the third book, hoping it would fill in the pieces that were still missing for me.
I received The Book of Knowing and Worth, on Christmas Eve. And ... geez, I thought giving a little background leading up to it would help me know what to say ... It's in a different class. I feel like I just jumped from high school to a doctorate program. It's accelerated! Incredibly powerful! If you felt any energy movement with the first two books like I did, you just might need to lie down to read this one.
Over the past few years working with these books, I've had some amazing experiences that are difficult to describe without sounding like I've lost it. This book explains those experiences in detailed, practical terms - how is that possible? It's incredibly affirming. I feel attended to. The Book of Knowing and Worth is leading me over a new threshold, and in my openness to it my life is blossoming in ways that were no more than hopes and wishes just weeks ago!
In fact, I believe this book can teach us how to take our dreams and turn them into a real, physical life experiences. If the first book was my Magic Book, this is my Miracle Book. I'm only able to give it 5 stars on Amazon, but it deserves a universe of stars!
My deepest gratitude to you, Paul Selig. These books have paved a way to awakening like nothing else I've encountered.
“The Christ can be born in man, in each of you, and in the ones beside you, in the ones you may meet and may never meet. It can be born because this is the time of the Creator’s welcome to each of you.”
“Now we sing your song for you in this text so that you may learn the words, so that you may get comfortable with the ideals that we set forth for you to adhere to. The designs you make, the way you move through this incarnation that have been born in worry and designed in fear will begin to unfold. They will begin to peel back so you may see yourselves as you are intended to be. The designs that we give you, the ways that you may know yourselves in conjunction with your fellows and all the things you have created will be what you know in a new way as you respond to our teaching.”
We learn that if we have the strength, courage and persistence to read and grow, these gifts can bloom in us during this unparalleled period of transition.
“You are born with this information. It has been instilled in you by God, if you wish, by what creates you, as you, to be remembered as you as the aspect of Source.”
As a handbook of awakening it twists, turns, cajoles and relentlessly moves through the excuses we would use to deny our own true nature. Affirmations and exercises abound to prod us through the day with reminders of what should count above the trivialities and misconceptions of daily life. Overcoming the self-deceits and fears of living is a job, becoming a truly humble being is work.
“Just for this day, claim only the truth and recognize that by doing so you are claiming power on the foundation that you are standing on now.” “You cannot pretend to be what you are not anymore. You cannot deceive yourselves anymore.”
“The true identity, the Divine Self as you, as it realigns you, will do something to you that you will not be able to comprehend until you are in the process of it. It will relegate your history to a space that is no longer required for you to identify yourself through, and it will call your future to you in a way that you will know. What this truly means is that you are no longer who you said you were.”
The sway of societal collective agreements can be very powerful, independent choices may be easy to contemplate and hard to make. Our thinking is tethered to earth reality.
“The last thing we would tell you that will stand in your way is your own choice, your own choice to release yourself from who and what you have known yourself as.” “You have the choice at any moment to reapply, to renegotiate your relationship to any of your creations, anything you see before you that you have agreed to.”
The challenge of keeping yourself in balance will reap its own rewards as the turmoil of unhealthy choices rebound to keep things in check.
“You are the one who gives yourself permission to call yourself forward. …The trials that you each face on the journey you are heading on are the ones of confrontation with your own face.” “The times are approaching fast when you each make decisions about what realm of possibility you wish to attend to.”
“We ask you only one thing: Do not deny the God in anybody else. The command that we give you here is a very important one. The moment one of you elevates yourself as a scholar, as a teacher, as a seer above the other, you create imbalance.”
Those gloriously funny, impatient, loving, wise, suffer-no-fools Guides have shown up with a dump truck load of priceless gifts this time, and they bury us up to our knees with them. My advice? Bring a large empty sack, and say "thank you very much." You'll undoubtedly be glad you did.
(Having said that, I would add that it's pretty essential to read the other 2 books before this one. I doubt it would be possible to experience this book properly without allowing the Guides to do their thing in the previous 2 volumes as preparation.)
