Présentation de l'éditeur

At last a book has been published openly which discloses the hidden secrets and mysteries of the universe.

Whatever you have wanted to know or understand about life and our purpose on earth you will find within this book.

You will also find a simple exercise which will clear the negative Karma which is currently holding you back and allow you to manifest happiness, health, good relationships and abundance in your life starting today.

From the book:

Are You A Seeker?
Do you know why you are alive today in this body of flesh and blood upon this little planet?
Do you know why there is so much suffering in the world?
Do you know the real purpose of your life?
Do you know who you really are?
Do you live a life of health, happiness and prosperity?

Would you like to?

A Few Words About Love
Do you know what love is?
Let me tell you first what love is not:
Love is not possession, nor control of the beloved.
Love is not conditions set upon the behaviour of the beloved.
Love does not consider the cost of loving.
True love is wishing what is best, without limit of time or place, for the beloved.
And acting without thought of self to bring that best about.
And the whole of the universe loves you in this way.
Yes, the universe loves you from the heart of its suns to the least of its children.
Why can I say this?
Because I know who you are.
And knowing who you are how could a clear eye not love you?

But who are you?

To recall the wonder of who you truly are you must read this gift which has been written for you.
After all, this universe upon which we gaze is nothing but a mirror held up to our soul.
A soul distorted by its passage through The Valley Of Tears.
And we all love, or otherwise, according to what we see in this glass darkly.

This book made me feel like it was made especially for me. I have been seeking the Truth, looking for Answers all my life. I have read many books, attended conferences ....yet always left with a feeling that it was only a glimpse or hint, not an actual answer. This book literally spoke to me. Robert has you feeling like your his best friend through his writing. I love his easy to understand, direct & informative way of teaching or "reminding" you of spiritual/metaphysical concepts. I am so excited that he is starting this series and am purchasing his next book today!!!! Thank you Robert! I am sure my family and friends will be thanking you too in the near future as I send them your book! Love and Light to you!!

1.0 étoiles sur 5 No Answers, Only Techniques To Get the Author More Readers! 17 juin 2014
Par Kendra Richards - Publié sur
Format:Format Kindle|Achat vérifié
I read this book from start to finish with an open mind, continuously trying to look at things the way the author intended the reader to, all while cancelling out the perspectives and 'signals' I was naturally receiving from the authors words.... Let me explain.

The beginning of this book had me so excited I could hardly stand it! It promises so much interesting, useful knowledge. You begin to feel like once you get past these first several pages, you'll be armed with enough knowledge to change the world.

Until you reach 41% into the book and start getting anxious. 'When am I actually going to read these awesome techniques and ways to change my thinking?' You begin to realize that the majority of this book (majority could very well be an understatement!) reads like an introduction. A teaser, even. A sense of disappointment began setting in, but hope was still there.

Throughout the book, the author continues to make all sorts of grandiose promises by telling you that by reading this book you're going to become prosperous, positive, your life will be so much better and your karma will be cleared. You get the message that this book is the answer to everything. By reading it, you'll finally be able to break free of virtually anything that's held you back in any way, including negative karma as the author tells you that you don't have to have negative karma, even if your past was ugly. You can 'clear the slate,' move on and actually have a brand new karma! Good karma. There is even such a thing as karma healing. And Robert is going to tell you just how to get all of it.

Those are just some of impressions I'd received throughout the book. There are even more amazing promises, but I won't give em' all away.

However, once I reached past the half-way mark of this book, I realized there was no way the rest of it could contain all the promised information. There simply wasn't enough room for the author to have been able to pack all those promised answers into the last half of the book. I didn't give up, though. I was going to finish it and not let the skeptical thoughts pop up and stop me. I'm no skeptic. At all, but I was feeling it in this book, and now that I've reached the end & really allowed myself to focus and think deeply on the author's actual intentions (as unbiased as possible), I feel confident that the skepticism that kept slapping me in the face, the red flags screaming 'this is scam-ish' are at least to some extent correct.

Let me explain why my impression is that this book is misleading and even something unethical...
Keep in mind, I'm not the type to label anything a scam unless it's scammy enough to be a true scam. I love giving everything and everyone the benefit of the doubt. Robert Serafino claims his intentions were not to scam readers with this book. He asks the reader to consider if he's telling you to do these certain things for his benefit or yours. He had to do this because he knew good and well that once the reader reached the end, their inner intuition would be screaming 'scam!' So, in his attempt to change that (and it was a good attempt, too. In fact, I almost fell for it. I *want* to fall for it. I *want* the author to have written this book with honesty and with the intention to really give to the reader, I want it to be honest and written with a good heart and not for selfish reasons. But again, I cannot even convince myself.

Here's why:
The Book of Answers gives the reader no answers to anything unless you were looking for how to become a black-listed spammer on the internet by using shady tactics to spread this book's link and get the author more attention. I'm not even kidding. Even the author makes a note about himself not doing this just for more attention, but that he's asking readers to go so far to share his book just for our own good. He even says because if we do go to these great lengths to get his book out there, we'll really be doing the world a favor and benefiting humanity so greatly by turning them onto a book of "answers."

But, read the book & you find that the only answers are answers about how to get his book out! I can't believe it myself. I've never read a book like this. With all those pages he could've used to share *something* besides "you can do sew-and-sew, and you'll learn by reading The Book of Answers, but I don't want to give away too much." He literally says that (sometimes in different words) dozens of times throughout the book. He brings up an awesome thing we humans can do like being prosperous, for example, yet he doesn't ever tell you ways to do that. Instead he'd rather "save" the life-changing information for later.

I want to clarify: I understand an author has to use ways to keep the reader intrigued enough to hold on, to keep reading and to want to read the next book. But you cannot create a book, promising answers to so many things and only keep telling your readers that you'll give them the "answer" in the future! It feels like being in high school again when your BFF says "I've got a secret and I'm not gonna tell you." Readers lose respect for an author when they go so far to make the entire book an introduction only -- which is how the book reads -- and then at the end tell them a dozen different ways to get you attention. That's bad. As an author, you've overstepped the line big time and your readers feel completely duped. But to top it off with "the only way to clear your karma and start reaping benefits is by sharing my book..."

Whoa. That's just unethical, shady and considering some of the techniques the author asks us readers to use in sharing his books are actually spam, that's low. I mean, some of these techniques have been known to get bloggers blacklisted on search engines. If I a writer for various online magazines and a 4+ year blogger went and done what the author 'requires' of me to clear my karma, it would literally ruin my reputation and name for years, if not forever. I would likely be blacklisted from search engines, possibly have my WordPress account disabled and my IP would also be blocked/blacklisted from some of the websites he requires you to spam upon.

To go into detail -- one of the ways to clear your karma (keep in mind ALL of the listed ways to do so include sharing the authors work) says to "sign up for a WordPress account for free and start commenting on blogs with a link to this book." REALLY?! So not only had the author lost all respect from me at that point, but he also just stepped on my toes and slapped me in the face. Asking me to spam? Spam is a writer/blogger's worst nightmare. No way would I do it.

Another way to clear your karma is by putting his books link in your email signature and sending it out to as many folks as possible. So, that way I'm not only going to be a well-known, internet blacklisted blogger, but also I'll piss off everyone in my email contacts. Of course these techniques will clear your karma! At the end of completing them, you will have so little people who have anything to do with you that you won't have to worry about how they treat you!

Robert Serafino gives you loads & loads of ways to share his website, links and book. In fact, this is the only thing he bothered to go into detail about in his book. All the ways you can share HIS stuff. You know, for the sake of changing the world and making it a better place! You're even provided with the text you can use in your emails and comments to share with others. Some of those scripted spam texts are just as misleading as the title of this book. For example: " FREE: The Book of Answers. Angels Wanted: Apply here." What?! I'm pretty sure that's 100% un-related to anything in this book! Angels wanted? Apply here? So that people can click that link thinking they're applying to be an angel to get paid? Then what when they come to the book or Robert's website? They'll just be pissed that it was a lie!

He recommend changing your links up a little and not sharing only the link to just ONE of his pages, but to use multiple links of his in your spam because "if everyone uses the same links then their usefulness will fall off so you might give a little thought to creating your own when you begin to see these around the net." Word. For. Word. No, what he means is, it'll be too obviously spammy when everyone's using the same scripted spam and obviously, use multiple links (of his only of course) so that you'll bring all of his sites/books traffic.

Another one: "Search for blogs, discussion groups, on all aspects of things like personal growth, spirituality, reincarnation, karma, life after death, ECOLOGY, WILDLIFE, CONSERVATION, ANIMAL RESCUE, DOG/CAT RESCUE and so on."

Are you kidding me?! Dog and cat? Wildlife? Do you guys get what's happening there? He's literally asking you to literally spam up the internet. Literally! You cannot go on forums and post links usually. It's highly against rules online because too many people spam. It's so looked down upon these days that some of the forums I'm a member of will actual blacklist you forever if you were to leave links without permission, and most especially if you leave one that's NOT RELATED TO THE FORUM. Wildlife and pets are in no way related to anything this book could be categorized as. Follow any of the authors 'requirements' to clear your karma and your online karma will blow. I'm not kidding.

It gets worse, sadly. There are many, many more of his 'ways to share' this book. But, here's the actual 'technique' he bothers to give you on how to clear your karma, and it's even worse than his shady tactics for sharing his work. He calls it the "Karma Link" and guess why? Because you have to share his LINKS just to get good karma. Yes, the author actually goes so far as to try and make the reader believe that the only way to have good karma is by sharing his book to "save humanity."

He says there are 3 parts to the technique "the Karma Link:" 1. Tapping. 2. Keep a journal. 3. Spread the word about this book." You'd really be baffled at how many times and how many ways he's put that in the book.

Tapping is the only part that really matters as journalling and sharing his book certainly don't heal you or help improve you in any way (well, journaling is useful). He uses an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for removing negative karma. He explains where you tap, but makes it very clear that the words you use during your EFT session should ONLY be: "I spread the book of answers. I release my negative karma."

In case you didn't know, EFT is where you tap (with fingers) on different areas of your body for specific reasons. As you tap, you have different things you say to help the process. EFT is a technique created by Gary Craig as a form of energy work. So, for example, in this book, you're using EFT to "remove negative karma" and you say the provided words "I spread the book of answers. I release my negative karma" while you tap different areas.

If you know EFT, then you know that for basically all issues (health, for example) almost always the 'script goes something like this: "even though I still have this pain, I fully and completely accept myself..." As you go on with the process, you often say things like "this remaining pain...." You get the point. I encourage anybody interested to look up various scripts for EFT and see how much they differ from the odd ones this author provided: "I spread the book of answers. I release my negative karma." That's not even how you'd go about releasing negative karma! It's yet another tactic to get his, and then "I release my negative karma" appears to simply be tossed in so that you're aren't only saying "I spread the book of answers.." That'd make a reader too suspicious of the authors real intentions, you see.

That's bad enough, but before you begin the exercise provided, the author states that "performing this exercise cannot cause you harm so long as you follow the instructions accurately. Do not be tempted to CHANGE THE WORDS at this stage as if you do YOU MAY CAUSE UNINTENDED FIREWORKS IN YOUR LIFE. These unintended results would not harm you SERIOUSLY but they might shake you up a little emotionally."

Do you see what he did there? Telling you not to change the words -- meaning you can't simply say "I release my negative karma," but you must also say the part about spreading his book! If you do change the words, he implies you MIGHT cause "unintended results" that he implies may be unpleasant to you. That's unethical. Especially considering if you ever look into how to create your own EFT wording, you'll find that people do it all the time, easily. For example, here's a statement made by someone who's practiced EFT (and many other similar works) for years: " ...Other aspects of the EFT system includes a home made mantra (a mantra which you design based on the issue you are attempting to overcome)" That would imply that you can safely use your own words."

People create their own EFT words all the time & there's loads of information on how any person can do that online. I've yet to see anyone with negative effects from using their own words, so again, the author intentionally mislead using fear tactics.

Secondly, from EFT FAQs on MyGenie, regarding the safety of EFT: "
Question: Is EFT Dangerous? EFT has never been proven to be dangerous in anyway shape or form. In fact, EFT has saved many lives. Question 2: Are there any negative side effects?: EFT has no known side affects." So obviously the author intentionally meant to mislead readers by using FEAR to encourage them to use his words about spreading his book.

This review wouldn't be complete without including the ending. Just as any skilled con-artist does, as a last resort, to really make sure you do what they want, they use the guilt-trip tactic. "Can you walk away from this task set for you by our creator and accepted by your higher self?" "Can you stand by and allow the world to slide into the abyss? And with it, the whole of humanity including those you care for? Or will you begin to build the life of your dreams and by so doing, play your part in creating the better world we would all like to see? A peaceful, clean, green and pleasant land...." He describes the beauty of the world. Then hits you hard with "Yes it really is so easy for you to join us and play your part. All you need to do is begin practicing the Karma Link and read the rest of this series of books as they are published. How difficult is that?"

Yea. It really says that. So, he implies that by spreading the links to the book, you will keep yourself and loved ones from sliding into "the abyss." Very low!

Other authors, including authors on this very topic who offered 1 free e-book (I could name off a dozen right now) are making it big and they never used manipulation tactics (this book is nothing more than a manipulation) to get attention. Most of them simply ask that you be kind enough to write an honest review and let your friends know if you liked it! That's good authorship. Example: I read an e-book last month for free and simply because the author offered up such useful information and made the reader feel as if his intentions were of great love and compassion, I signed up for their newsletter, Liked on FB, reviewed the book (positive) and shared it on my social media platforms. Honesty goes a long way in the world of book writing. I always feel happy to reciprocate a favor in any way I can think of when an author gave their book away for free & offered anything useful in it.

That leads me to something else the author did to piss off readers: treat them as if they're completely stupid. He didn't think we'd notice that he was basically using us to be his little robot spammers? But he uses flattery by saying things like "you're lovely,".

"You will see tremendous personal benefit..." "You will earn a great deal of good karma..." "You will be playing your part in saving the world for your children and for all of us." He literally says those things! After you do the one and only good deed by sharing his stuff in any way possible (including mostly spammy ways). HOW the h*** does that "save the world?" If the book contained ANYTHING that would help us to do good things for the world, maybe.

But he lied. The book is dishonest. It truly feels like a con-artist at work because the author really knows how to flatter you and make you feel that he cares about you. You, the very reader. You are important to him. He wrote this book with great love for you. Just straight from the kindness of his compassionate heart, offering it for FREE even! So humble. That was my impression until I read the full book. He offered it for free because it had zero for the reader to gain. In fact, at the end, I searched desperately trying to find one or two things I gained from the book. It saddens me that this was even written with such selfishness. I can't find a single thing in the book that seemed to be written for the sake of the reader in any way -- to help make us better, improve us, make the world a better place. There is none of that. Every single word written ties in with his plan to get more and more attention and it's upsetting that this is what books have come to.

Okay. I'm done. I just felt compelled to put this out there. I've never given this negative of a review, but like I said all signs are pointing to scam and spam. I feel duped and mislead by the author. I feel like he used manipulation and other negative ways to get people to do something. I would've gladly shared his book (and paid) if he would've simply given a real technique and not only included a multitude of ways to ask a reader to share his work. I'd have shared it if it included anything besides HOW to share his work. I feel like this kind of writing sets back the entire she-bang of energy healing, energy work and karma. Anybody who's very knowledgeable in these areas knows that sharing someone's book is not going to purify your karma. I feel like the author knows this as well, and that's why I have such strong, negative feelings about this book. It was purely misleading, full of mistruths and only written as a way to get something from others. Fine, but lying to them to make them think their life and humanity will be "saved" by doing YOU a favor? It just feels like being slapped in the face.

I hope that the other books by this author do provide useful, truthful information & I hope that they were written for the right reasons. It's obvious the author has a lot of potential. It's just a shame the first impression most people will get is one of a shady, selfish one.

Do not recommend. To my point of view is a self-served book where the author wants you to keep advertising his book and believes. Has some good points to ponder but...
