To my advantage this book is mostly printed in the English language despite being the official French version from the publisher Casterman.
French is dominant from pages 137 to 151 (which isn't much in comparison to how much of the pages are in English), these pages are in fact about the chronology of Schuiten's career and the interview he gives both of which is also available in English at the beginning of the book. If there are any English readers dying to get a copy of this book (new or old) but are inept in the French language and cannot afford the crippling price of the English edition that is published by NBM Publishing (now out of print), do not fear. This book is available on other sites for a reasonable price (33-45 euros or so).
As for the quality of the book, it's well made and seems to have a sound structure (i'm not an expert in this area to be honest).
The quality of the printed images does Francois Schuiten's art justice - they are clear and the colours seem vibrant. Virtually everyone who has discovered his work will agree that it is beautiful. His vision of architecture transports me through the spatial awareness of each piece, the mindscapes created are thus somehow believable yet grand.
