Présentation de l'éditeur

Ten years ago, Olympia fell in love in Greece. The man she loved was the fiancé her grandfather had chosen for her—Nik, a sexy and gentle young man who was also something of a playboy. The two of them felt a mutual attraction, but then Nik was misled to believe that Olympia had cheated on him, and he rejected her. It was a disaster. Olympia left Greece behind her, injured by the lies. But now, her grandfather demands that she become affianced to him again.... How?

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Another Lynne Graham keeper! 2 mai 2000

I have read all Lynne Graham books and they are all similar in that they all feature: drop-dead gorgeous, sexy billionaire hero; virginal heroine (may be very beautiful or quite ordinary), beautiful romantic setting. What makes Lynne Graham's books stand out is her hero. He is every woman's fantasy -- stunningly handsome, sexy, and a billionaire too! He fights his love for the heroine at first and can verbally be quite cruel. But in the end, because of his great love for her, heroine can bring him to his knees. Here in The Cozakis Bride, hero is Greek billionaire Nik Cozakis. He is so stunning looking that heroine felt like the "Beast" and he's the "Beauty" in a role reversal in Beauty and the Beast. Heroine is ordinary looking but he finds her beautiful. He could not keep his hands off her. They were engaged when he was 19 and she 17 but were separated by vicious lies. They met again 10 years later. This book has all the trademark Lynne Graham features: hot chemistry, great passion, memorable scenes and dialogue, excellent story line, romantic setting, and wonderful hero and heroine. If you have not read a Lynne Graham book, you are missing out on some great reading experience!

4.0 étoiles sur 5 A few flaws don't take away from the overall greatness~ 5 juillet 2010

This is not like a lot of the LG cr*p out there today. Graham is certainly a prolific writer but not always successful - well, actually, more often than not, unsuccessful - but with this book she did a great job overall.

First of all, I truly appreciated how the h/h are only two years apart in age. This means that although they split up ten years ago, they are both relatively young and that sometimes shows in their somewhat immature manners. So happy am I that their age difference doesn't involve a run around the zodiac cycle for once.

Secondly, the heroine is more real than you would expect from LG. She's not a simpering mess of wide eyes and gaping mouths and sometimes even gives as good as she gets. How happy was I that after being abandoned aboard the yacht by her husband, the day after their wedding no less, she decides that she's not gonna wail after him anymore and decides to take advantage of the local tourist spots? Very.

I think I would have liked the hero to show how he really did love the heroine even when they were teenageers a bit more and the whole Katerina thing annoyed me to no end but this was a surprisingly good read and I would recommend it. Don't skip this because you think, after a few bad LG HPs that they'll all be like that. This one is the exception~!

The book is one of lynne's best and it grips your heart afteer the first few pages till the end. It tells of how an ordinary, headstrong girl who didn't think too much of herself falls in love with her man who is everything she is not. In this book, lynne also throws in some more complications to the story to make it a very exicting read, maybe her best this year. Anyone whould enjoy reading it and find it totally difficult to put down till the end.

This is a classic and as I am a hard core fan of Lynne Grahem I especially found it good. The couple were once engaged when she was 17 and he 19 but because of his cousins manipulation he thinks she cheated on him. 10 years later they meet when the heorine approaches him and proposes marriage because She has made a bargain with her grandfarther that if she marries the hero then her grandfather will help her sick mother. The Hero agrees only so he can finally gain his revenge, even when he finds out she is a virgin he still thinks she was unfaithful. One of the reasons I find Lynne Grahem's books so good is becauase her heros and heorines share a love/hate relationship. Love can turn to hate so fast when one is betrayed however as Lynne Grahem shows us love wins the day.

2.0 étoiles sur 5 Same Old Thing From Lynne Graham. 4 juillet 2001

Having read such excellent reviews of Lynne Graham's books from Amazon and other readers, I expected a masterpiece instead I got something which bored me to death. The characters are annoying, the situation ridiculous and unrealistic and the supporting characters typical (a glamourous mistress, a beautiful jealous cousin etc.) I suggest authors such as Kate Walker,Anne Mather, Carole Mortimer and Sandra Field for they never disappoint.
