Présentation de l'éditeur

Odessa has been in love with Steven for years, ever since she first met him when she was seven, and he was nineteen. But Steven has been best friends with her sister since they were in high school, and even though she's now twenty-three to his thirty-five, Odessa feels like Steven doesn't realize she's grown into a woman. She's wrong of course.

After his grandfather died, Steven felt like the only family he has is Sherise and Odessa, and he doesn't want to screw that up for a night in the bed with Odessa. Still, he can't stop wanting her. She's grown into a desirable woman, one who is so beautiful that men are always after her, making Steven want choke every last one.

Not until they are thrown together on a beach for their summer vacation are the two able to explore the desire they have for one another, but what's going to happen when the vacation is over, when their lives take separate directions? Will Steven admit that there is more than lust between them, or will he lose the thing he has been trying so hard to hold onto all along?

I always hate writing reviews as I am not a writer and feel that since I lack that talent I should refrain from bad mouthing the books. The story is all over the place not coherent good or having any depth. Waste of money and time in reading the thing. Unfortunately, I will probably not buying anything from this author without reading a previuos review. The star ws given because I would love to see more firefighters as heros in these books since it always seems to be cops or businessmen in the romance novels now.

I really expected this to be a good book. Boy was I wrong. The main character was immature and started to annoy me. And the author needs to think everything over BEFORE writing it. It really upset me when the main character left without knowing she was pregnant and arriving a year later with a one-year-old. I lost interest after that...

It was not a bad story it just left me wanting a little more. I wanted to know what happened to the other characters like her sister. The storyline was OK. The main character was VERY immature. I would still give this authoer a chance. The story was worth the price I paid for it.

Somehow without Steven realizing it, Odessa had grown into a beautiful, desirable woman that set his soul on fire. But Steven refused to act on his desires for fear that he would lose the only family unity that he had known with Odessa and her sister since his last living relative had died years ago. That was until Odessa decided to take matters into her own hands.

Ever since the tender age of seven, Odessa had been in love with her older sister's best friend, Steven. Over the years, her puppy love fantasy had developed into a more womanly womanly, passion-filled type of love; however, Steven had always - and still continued to - treat her like a little sister. Well, enough was enough! Steven was in for a rude awakening when Odessa decided to seduce him with her alluring charms. Has Odessa gone too far?

The Firefighter's Woman was a fun-loving, fast-paced story that I took great pleasure in reading. The plot was hot like fire and the couple's passion sizzled from start to finish. Odessa was a sassy heroine who was determined to have Steven as her man; while Steven was equally determined that they maintained a platonic relationship. Although Steven was too stubborn to admit it, he and Odessa proved to be a well-matched, passionate couple. I so enjoyed the interaction between Odessa and Steven while they traveled the rocky road to falling in love. Readers, you don't want to miss out on Tressie Lockwood's The Firefighter's Woman - you will not be disappointed!

This was a very hot read. It goes to show you that enough you was raise as sister and brother doesn't mean love will not bloom. When I started to read this book I could not put it down, I read it in one day it was just that good. That love and sex scenes between Des and Steven was HOT HOT HOT. keep up the great work Tressie and I will continue to buy books from you.
