The Girl who saved the King of Sweden
le 22 juin 2014
A wonderfully quirky book that has the reader laughing aloud while being amazed and horrified at the politics and Tom Sharpe type characters of South Africa during apartheid. Jonas Jonasson uses the most unlikely conjunctions of events to create an absurd and extremely funny narrative while not really stretching the reader's credibility more than in many books.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes a giggle and a writer who glides effortlessly through the literary conventions to produce an immensely readable story.
