The chameleon's life was not very exciting until the day it discovered it could change not only its color but its shape and size, too. When it saw the wonderful animals in the zoo, it immediately wanted to be like them -- and ended up like all of them at once -- with hilarious results.

Not our favortie Carle book.,

This is our favorite children's author. His illustrations are amazing and a pleasure to look at for both parent and child. That said this is not one of his better books. These illustrations are too complicated and the colors are actually quite bland for a Carle book. I would suggest "Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see?" instead.

Who will I become ?,

This is the story of a chameleon who feels that sould be better to become ... strong like an elephant, smart like a fox, ... In the end, who will he be? Pictures are really funny, lots of creativity to mix up the different animals. However illustrations seem a little bit complicated for young children (under 6 years). I really like this one, but I would recommend the favourite one of my little boy (from his 10 months) which is the "Very Hungry Caterpillar".
