Présentation de l'éditeur

Richard La Ruina used to be the guy who couldn’t get the girl. Shy, painfully awkward, and still living at home with his mother, at 25 he decided to finally take control of his life and become the kind of man men admire and women desire. Having developed and honed his seduction techniques, Richard is now a ‘natural’ at attracting girls and one of the world’s most renowned pick-up artists.

As founder of PUA Training (Pick-up Artist Training), Richard has personally coached thousands of men through their own dramatic transformations. Now, in The Natural, he brings that experience to you, delivering field-tested methods and easy-to-use tools for attracting the women you want. Just like riding a bike or driving a car, meeting women and making them fall for you is a learned skill that, with enough practice, becomes effortless. There’s no need for tricks, gimmicks, or lies. Instead, these methods make you more confident and attractive to women. Using the tools in The Natural, you’ll finally have the ability to attract women just by being yourself.

From body language to conversation starters, eye contact to the first touch, The Natural is a step-by-step blueprint for becoming the man that women can’t resist.

The Natural is an amazing book on how to conquest the opposite sex with original and subtle pick-up methods/tricks. It is the logical sequel to the US masters Mystery and Neil Strauss with "The Game" in a UK version. But it differs from the previous ones by providing more and more tricks which made it so irresistible to me. It won't be long before you get out there to put it in practice fellas!

I read Neil Strauss' The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists right before reading "The Natural" by Richard La Ruina. Where "The Game" contains some pick-up tidbits along the way it is mainly a story of Strauss' experiences. Here in "The Natural" the author attempts to do some more serious teaching on the subject and is pretty successful depending on the audience.

The book is squarely aimed at guys with very little experience with women. The author, when telling his story, says that he had only kissed a couple of girls by the time he was in his 20's. He decided to try anything and everything to improve his game and those are the things he writes about in the book. It is interesting to see how much of these concepts are nothing more than common sense to a lot of guys, but for those that it is not this book will probably be very helpful.

The book does a good job of breaking down the steps that guys should take and then perfecting them. As with any other skill, practice and repetition do make big differences. If you don't know how to approach women, or are too afraid to do so, this book could help you get over the hump.

Overall, I'd recommend this book to anyone that feels that they just don't have the confidence to walk up to a random woman and talk to her. If you can already approach a woman and start up a conversation than you probably don't need to waste your time.

Richard La Reina makes it sound pretty easy to pick up hot girls, but I think this book also deals very well with how to live a happier life by interacting with not just women but everyone. This is a one-book course on how to enjoy and appreciate, and communicate with, all peoples. Good advice for every guy, especially the introvert.

I'm a woman, and I read this book for sociological reasons, hopefully to understand men's minds a bit better. I felt it did help me achieve this and I'm grateful.
First of all, I think this is a well written book, concise, to the point, written in a very conversational and friendly tone that anyone can follow. I believe it encourages men to have more self respect and gather as much confidence in themselves as they possible can. I always like to see genuine encouragement from a fellow human. I also believe it took the author a lot of courage to write this book. On the whole, the psychoanalytical aspects of this book are fascinating, in parts it's very funny and I believe it is beneficial for anyone wanting to improve their general confidence with anyone, not just a particular gender. However my main reservation comes one part of the book, and something streaking like guile, which is unnecessary. I am not saying the author is advocating this, merely that there is a slight undercurrent of it and men regarding it in general. The reviewers who are reviewing the author's personal charachter are contributing an irrelevant discussion, his personality is irrespective of the work, so stop judging the book by those standards.
Women would much prefer honesty about your intentions. If there is one thing people value at all times it is honesty. Gentleman there are women who will screw you silly out in no need of anything in return but you do not need to deceive a girl who isn't of that persuasion. There is no need to humiliate a woman into thinking you have feelings for her you don't possess. Why would you want to intentionally hurt someone? Instead of being sly, come clean. I do not see what is so hard about saying to a prospective girl 'Let's skip the jazz. You're an amazingly hot girl. For twenty minutes I have been thinking about nailing you straight into my wallpaper at home, how bout it?" What is so freaking hard about that guys? She can only have so many reactions. (Kinky, I like it./ Who the hell do you think you are? / Great, let's go/ Sorry, that doesn't appeal to me./ Are you drunk?....ETC ETC.)
If subtle he wasn't, then HONEST he was. Don't try and fool her, she's not a sucker. Offense is only something women are engineered to express, because it is what they have been taught, not all of them will reject you. They'd appreciate you think them desirable so there's no need to be sneaky and malicious. Would you like it done to you?

I don't see why you have to make it a crocodile when you can present it as monkey, but whatever, I'm not the expert and there is nothing I have not forgiven Monsieur Casanova. Despite the moral ambiguity I think this is definitely worth a read, even if you are only if you are just looking to improve your skills making friends.

I've read both of Richard's books, watched his DVD's and even attended private approaching classes so I don't consider myself new to pick up.

True, much of what is in the book was already covered in his old book, which was by far the best book on this subject I'd ever read. The new book is perhaps a little better because it's a little less autobiographical with a little more daygame thrown in, which is what I was hoping for.

So if you're new to pick up then this book is by far the best thing on the subject you'll read, a perfect introduction, although my one complaint coming from a newbie perspective would be the lack of material on approach anxiety. This is still the number 1 issue for most guys starting in pick up. I've found the book by Charlie Valentino; Destroy Approach Anxiety - Effortlessly Approach Women Without Fear to be the best book on that subject and should be the first book all aspiring pick up artists should read.

If you are however advanced in pick up then you're not going to get an awful lot of new material from The Natural, if any at all. But I'll conclude by saying it is still probably the best book on this subject! But I don't think it quite matches up to the hype. Still, I'll give it a 5 star!

2.0 étoiles sur 5 It's a copycat of other PUA books 10 mai 2012

This book is only good because it's cheap and it contains new rooutines. Aside from that, it's an incomplete book. It doesn't address many of the Game's aspects and assumes you are quite acquainted with PUA material.

I can only recommend this book if you are willing to know other routines or new some new lines. This natural PUA thing that Gambler teaches is not natural at all. It's still routine-based for the beginners and when it comes to advanced PUAs, the "natural" game is stage of uncontious competece, which was first described by Neil Strauss. The is not very original and copies many of Mystery's own teachings.

In fact, I would definitely recommend Mystery's first book and Revelation, Love System's Magic Bullets and Neil Strauss' Rules of the Game for the ones that are interested in real pickup artistry. "The Natural" is just an appendix book compared to the aforementioned ones.
