Ahead of its time 24 novembre 2012
Par Peter Norquest - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché Achat vérifié
Although written in the mid-80s, the material in this book is relevant today more than ever. Drawing on apocalyptic material from the Bible (supplemented with passages from Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce), the author develops a hypothesis of cometary interaction with the Earth which makes predictions about what might happen when mankind hits a certain critical juncture in its development. Although it involves biblical material, this is no ordinary "end-times" screed -- it is, however, a wake-up call about how the cosmos cleans house and what this could mean for civilization as we know it.

An Absorbing Read 6 novembre 2012

I have just finished reading "The Noah Syndrome" and found it to be a sobering yet an interesting read. This book was written in the mid-1980s, introducing the concept of quantum cosmic metamorphosis and a serious look at Earth's cataclysmic history.

I am finding it to be more relevant now and it is certainly not an "out-dated" book.

The author pulls several ancient and modern-age sources together wonderfully to make a book that is not only informative but truly an eye-opening as well.

Wow! An Unbiased Examination of the Bible and Religion! 1 mars 2013

Every time I read another one of this woman’s books, I am more awed by the amount of work that has gone into it, and I hope that someday she gets all the credit she deserves for all that she has done.

Having once been a member of a Fundamentalist church that demanded that you spend a lot of time studying the Bible, I am quite familiar with its contents. But this book caused me to re-examine everything I had ever learned about it and look at it in an entirely different way. This is good. I needed to. The research of ancient history and comparison of various accounts of happenings all over the world with those described in the Bible must have taken hours and hours of painstaking study and research. But in the end, the author has drawn some of the most astute, logical and intelligent conclusions I have ever seen.

Her observations about New Age thought and beliefs were particularly helpful to me. Having left Fundamentalism many years ago, I became a New Ager. Over time I began to feel something was lacking there also, something just not quite right, but I wasn’t exactly sure what it was. She made me realize that New Age thinking is another area of confusion and error rather than enlightenment and that it contains fallacies that could be deadly to those who adopt New Age ideas without careful analysis and examination of what they really mean.

All in all another Masterpiece by this brilliant woman. I’m just glad that she decided to share what she has learned with the rest of us.

Another Blockbuster by LKJ! 4 février 2013

Admittedly, I'm somewhat biased because I love the author's work, but that's because she writes book's that really pull's me into this incredible detective sleuth mystery uncovering hidden meanings and symbolisms, pulling together different resources that paint a picture of history unlike any other.

The Noah Syndrome is no exception.

Even though it was written almost 3 decades ago and recently published, it is a detailed account of her interpretation's of The Book of Revelation's and the Bible's prophecies on end-times and what the allegorical representation's used in those book's could actually mean. By also adding into account Nostradamus' and Edcar Cayce' prophecy's, she weaves together a tapestry and decipher's what it all really means.

Does fire and brimstone really mean fire and brimstone or could that have to do with cometary bombardment?

Who are prophet's and what allow's them to tune into and interpret possible future events?

What role does quantum physics and macrocosmic wave collapses play in all this? (what are macrocosmic wave collapses...)

Who does the beast really represent and how does mankind as a whole and individually affect the diverting or bringing to fruition these prophecies?

She explains this and a whole lot more. So, in my opinion get the book and read it. You won't be disappointed!

A few thoughts on NS 2 décembre 2012
Par AK - Publié sur Amazon.com

Have read a number of books from this author and this book, The Noah Syndrome, was written far back in a time (> 25 years ago). This in itself was at a time when the internet was in infancy, as it is known today, and research then required a great many physical books be read as opposed to googling some article or opinion. Some of the ideas the author discusses then were cognisant of ideas of many other thinkers and of those from prior historical times; asking tough questions, looking for answers in places many don't think to look. The other aspect is that looking for answers require an intense wide field of study of sciences and histories; not easy. As such, this writing expanded upon many of those matters, linking them, sussing out what fits and remarkably, many of them remain today just as valid and hold true within the author's later writings.

Fascinating reading.
