HASH(0x9fa8130c) étoiles sur 5 Excellent, if you can do it. 22 décembre 2010

He makes it sound too easy. And it is, providing you are able to get past your own desire to 'get it' in words. I had a small similar epiphany as Tony describes on pp 19-22 in a London bookshop that specializes in books on spirituality, religion and mysticsm. I eagerly picked up one title thumbed through it, put it back, picked up another and similarly leafed through it and replaced it, and a third until I realized that 'IT' isn't in any book. IT can't be. IT isn't like that. Tony is trying to describe IT the best he can in words, and says just that.

I also want to say he is immensely more articulate in this book than he is on his website, [...]

HASH(0x9fa81618) étoiles sur 5 He's Personally anti-Personal 27 janvier 2014

I love this guy. On YouTube, he laughs a lot like my favorite uncle--- open, relaxed, hones, and, thank God, often. Reading his stuff melts a lot of the inner guff. It's a great tonic. His continual insistence on there being no "you" there feels a little personal (?)--- yet, again, he seems real honest about his own experience. I like Catherine Ingram's observation that her own personality is much freer, fuller, and more fun than it was prior to "awakening," And I love David Spangler's common sense approach to "personality" in his "Incarnational Spirituality," which suggests that time/space personality is exactly what we came to earth to explore. Nevertheless, Tony Parsons is a breath of fresh air... until you realize there's no one there to breath, and then it's time to get out of there. Again, a very worthy read. Just don't take it as the last word on "yay or nay" in regards to personal expressions.

It's almost impossible to write about non-dualism, since words are in their very nature dualistic.

I read books like this with the hopes of experiencing a shift in perspective deep enough to cause a corresponding shift in consciousness.

That did not occur.

I found myself straining to understand and unravel meaning from some of his paragraphs.

It is a very short book--likely the shortest book I've ever read at a mere forty-five pages--and that would be fine if the content had been of the caliber required to justify paying the twelve bucks it's currently going for at Amazon.

I really like Tony Parsons. He's a great guy with a hilarious laugh, and I think he's got a lot to offer. I just find the videos of him on YouTube a lot more valuable than anything I got out of this book.

I only bought THE OPEN SECRET because Tony Parsons keeps referring to it in his talks. I don't regret getting the book, but I couldn't find any secrets in there, "open" or otherwise.

HASH(0x9fa81744) étoiles sur 5 The Secret in open now! 9 novembre 2014
Par Angelika Linke - Publié sur Amazon.com

Tony Parson reminds us of 'the open secret' that this moment is all there is, we are 'all that is' that the secret is to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, everywhere, every time. No 'person' here, no problem, just 'what is' is...

HASH(0x9fa81b94) étoiles sur 5 reality as it is, plain and simple 7 août 2011

Tony Parsons speaks the truth in all it's wonder and simplicity as he exposes the mind and explains it's true function. There truly is no one and when this is seen (by no one) clarity may arise exposing the fact there are no separate individuals and the body mind is "just happening" the same as all other things in the phenomenal world.
Tony speaks so clearly on non duality that he makes you wonder at times if he's pulling your leg. After reading his books it can be clearly seen he is not pulling your leg and this becomes clear that he is speaking from true life experience. He answers all questions without any contradictions or misleading assertions.
When said that our life's experiences repeat themselves over and over again like a spinning wheel with differing images I knew this was profound because I had seen it happen throughout my life. This helps one to see through the dream of separation and accept things as they are. Over and over again Tony's comforting words of truth take us back to the home we never left, our true non dual nature.
