Un bon livre,

Ce commentaire fait référence à cette édition : The Other Hand (Broché)
Cet ouvrage est très intéressant, car il met le lecteur à la place du narrateur, cette jeune femme immigrée d'Afrique Noire qui débarque en Angleterre. On la suit depuis sa sortie du centre de détention pour immigrés, et ce que j'ai trouvé fascinant dans ce livre de Chris Cleave c'est cet art qu'il a de passer de moments tristes à des moments drôles; on comprend mieux ce qu'est le combat d'une étrangère qui arrive au Royaume-Uni; ce livre devrait être inscrit dans tous les programmes scolaires!

Ce livre est un pur chef d'oeuvre que je recommande sans hésitation. Le style enchante par sa simplicité et les pesonnages y sont décripté dans leurs vérités les plus poignantes.
