Présentation de l'éditeur

The Rocky Road is the autobiography of Eamon Dunphy - the man the Guardian called 'the most entertaining, blindingly brilliant pundit of all time'.

For more than thirty years, no commentator on Irish sport, politics and culture has been the object of so much love, hatred and fascination as Eamon Dunphy. Now, in The Rocky Road - one of the most hotly anticipated Irish autobiographies of recent times - Dunphy takes us behind the scenes of a passionate life - from childhood poverty in Dublin to the Football League to the forefront of journalism and debate in Ireland.

What a read ! Eamon Dunphy's early and middle years autobiography charts his rise from footballing hopeful , growing up in narrow minded Catholic Dublin in the 50s, later returning to the city as panelist and journalist, often making headlines for the wrong reasons . I loved his obvious dislike of all things Paddywhackery! Candidly written, you can really hear Eamon Dunphy' s voice speaking. When's the next part due?

A great read. The world was a better place during "The Last Word" years and the Rocky Road reminded me of the days when rush hour traffic was something to look forward to. I don't agree with a lot of it and I don't believe some of it but I enjoyed every word of it.

A wonderful insight into Irish soccer. Eamon doesn't take himself too seriously. He shows his human side, but keeps his privacy
