Even though I've only just started this book, it is a definite keeper. A very profound book that will surely touch the life of everyone who dares to read it and those who dare to apply it into their lives.

Excellent book - The model of models1 février 2014

This is a book for the real readers, with concentration and clarity of mind. If you practice shamanism or any other type of spirituality, be it traditional or postmodern, it is even better. The author connects Timothy Leary's eight-circuit brain model with the law of attraction and Ervin Laszlo's akashic field theory. This is 21st century spirtuality at its best: open-minded, wide, deep, and above all, free.

MAKE THE GREAT LEAP !!!!13 avril 2015

Once in a while a book comes along and shakes you out of the reading doldrums, THIS is that book! This book is a furthur venturing on the subject of the eight-circuit brain. Carrying on from the work developed by Timothy Leary, and advanced by Antero Alli, Mr. Huguelit does an admiral, self searching, self questioning, paradigm pulverizing job! He asks great questions, one about the possible causes of the world-wide tobacco consumption epidemic, I quote, " Could this epidemic be rooted in the need to return to the Earth from a disconnected world? An unconscious fascination with death in a world that wants to forget it exists? Mastery of time in a world where time has become a precious commodity?" These are great questions indeed. The meat of the book deals with if you think one way, put stuff off, that sounds like nonsense, believe in only a rational, or in only a supernatural world, you are only experiencing a small part of this wonderful existence. Get your brain firing on all cylinders, don't bend a piston rod, by over or under using your other available cylinders. Great book, Great theory, Great author. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Book Review... Laurent Huguelt - The Shamanic Path To Quantum Consciousness.15 janvier 2014

I pre-ordered this book two moths before it was released and had amazon.com express mail it to me in Australia from the USA over Christmas/New Year 2014. After ripping open the usual, stale international packaging which I deliver every day (being a postman!) the first thing which hit me was the synthetic visual-feeling of delight when looking at and reading the front cover of this book.
“Another book on the eight circuits” I found myself exclaiming, having not read anything on the eight circuit model since 2009 when Antero Alli released his book The Eight-Circuit Brain: Navigational Strategies for the Energetic Body. It’s been 5 years and I’ve moved on, changed my life and progressed through so many changes a young man at the beginning of the 21st century. Some of these changes are hormonal-physiological and others have been because of my intense studies in life philosophy, personal outcomes and constant/daily self-development.
I will confess that it is a weird feeling to have a well flushed flash from the past. Rekindling the Leary-Wilson craze days and explorations into the human Nervous System, Physiology and General Semantics/NLP. The days that I lived as a teenager and in my early 20′s have come rushing back to me when I started to read this book… And while I am reminded of the many different states of consciousness on many of the different circuits I have opened up and explored over the last few years of my life, I am reminded that while this model covers many interesting areas of human consciousness that I now consider it arbitrary and dated.
Being a student of Michael Tsarion has taught me more, unfortunately than what Wilson or Leary ever have or did…
Yet while it is dated and there have been other models released over the years of my explorations into human consciousness, it was this one book, the newest on my bookshelf which gave me a hint at what I was looking for and exploring almost 9 years ago in 2005 and 2006. In that era, coming close now to the close of a decade ago, I was a young eighteen/nineteen year old boy who was just finding out about the world…
Reading this book on the way too and from work and before I go to bed, I am reminded of that time when I was sitting alone in my bedroom at midday, while everyone else was working their brains out and how I had a keen interest in the works of Manly Palmer Hall, David Icke,Terrence McKenna and of course worshiping two of the most famous books I treasured at that time by Robert Anton Wilson and Timothy Leary; with Prometheus Rising and Info-psychology being the titles released by these authors respectively.
Yes, I was given a hint… 26 years old and I felt that hit of nostalgia. The type of nostalgia which helped me to lift the Minutia of my young adulthood to see behind one of the many mystical veils of life once again. That sense of urgency which the veil had revealed to me, providing to me again the hunger to learn a little or all about anything and everything as a polymath that wants to learn all he can about human beings. I was thus again mystified and impressed…
I was thus again mystified and impressed with another author who had studied this model on the 8 circuits and reaped newer and more updated “rewards”. “Rewards” loaded with dopamine packages of eternal love and life in understanding how and why the renditions of going into the 5th Circuit somatic body can heal. Heal in its healing highness and how this can be related back to alternate medical modalities such as Radionics, Psychotronics and of course Eastern energy practices such as Qi Gong, Vedanta and Yoga.
I was again in a state of imprint vulnerability impressed by the authors knowledge and understanding of the sixth and eighth circuits which I could find little to limited information in similar books on this subject. I was impressed with this book because the author was able to throw some light on the more extra-psychic arts of the 8 circuit model as a whole and this impressed me greatly. It is refreshing to have some more input about how these systems work, even though arbitrary in that we know little or next to nothing about their direct empiric and rational operation as of yet, the year 2014.
Nearly 30 years after Wilson wrote Prometheus Rising…
Yet, I feel that the author knows more than what they have written and typed down in this book. When he says that he regards the development of computers with 6th circuit inference-intelligence (the semiotic-triangle and use of general semantics to get to non-verbal/post-verbal levels of observation seems interesting to me) he also leads me to question if he is aware that geniuses such as Buckminster Fuller and Nicola Tesla were also in the know and utilizing this type of circuitry-intelligence. Surely both of their “genius-intelligences” invented many 6th circuit technologies which have been available to the betterment of humanity as a whole.
Alas, in my constructive criticism, I must say that a lot of the information in this book is rehashed from other, older more archaic areas such as from Wilson/Leary, leading me to wonder at times why I invested in this book at all – I.e. Why did the author not spend more time exploring the Akashic field, found in theosophy and New Age Teachings in relationship to Jungian Archetypes of the 7th circuit?
In my never-mind, I have also found at other times that this book redeems itself highly. Containing new and vital information in parts which have been screaming out at me while I was reading through it, page by page. This especially so in the morphogenesis-akashic connection and how this can be related to post-human systems/thoughts/organic operations on the 8th circuit. This impressed me so much that I have to applaud the authors length, breadth and depth of knowledge on this model, especially in the more esoteric areas where other authors such as Leary/Wilson have floundered.
Having read through the entire contents of this book in a day, using both my travel time to work, at work (lunch time) on the way home and before bed to tackle this little gem and reap from it’s potential. I have found that it has taught me more in inference than what the volumes information, written in black and white lines was worth. This is where the index and Apendix section of The Shamanic Path To Quantum Consciousness became valuable. I say valuable, because many of the authors who I had heard on Henrik Palmgren’s Red Ice Radio, were also to be found in this book and with good reference to their work.
In closing, whoever this author is, they have done their research and whist traveling on a similar path to him – I must celebrate his achievements, even though it took a long and dedicated five years to write, edit and massage the words out of his head, into this book and it’s written contents. I rate this book 4/5 stars and I hope that each of you as readers, researchers, occultists, psychologists and similar get what you need out of this text and self-development title.
Until the next Product Review,
