An excellent book that is written for the person who wants curated and important info on health and wellness & doesn't want to read 15 books on each topic.

It is tightly edited and really gives you the bulleted, to-the-point content and recommendations on where to get more info, if you want.

It is smart and can be simple, but when addressing topics that can be overwhelming goals for someone, simple is best. Love the elephant quote: "how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." That's what this book is: one bite at a time. Not about eating elephants.

Very well-written book. As the book says, it's less about yoga, and more about all the things that would complete a Yoga lifestyle. I'm an advocate of meditation, and initially I referred people to books on meditation, but now I just tell people to do yoga. It's more accessible, and much of it is like meditation. For people already sold on yoga, then, this book is a great, simple introduction to meditation. The chapter on great meditation podcasts is worth the price alone, as it's hard to sift through all the ads on Google and YouTube when finding good tapes.

If you like yoga, are curious about meditation, but want something simple, accessible and written with authority, then this is the book for you!

This short, easy to read book is full of advice on how to simplfy your life. The world has become very intrusive and this book offers advice on how to take a breather, and bring some calm into our lives.

I have been taking yoga for about a year and love the way it makes me feel. The Yoga Lifestyle contains many concrete, positive suggestions for improving essential aspects of our lives including nutrition, health, and stress reduction. It is easy to read in one sitting or in smaller bites. There is a helpful list of free meditation podcasts at the end. This book is a wonderful companion to yoga classes because it will help you carry that "yoga" feeling into everyday life.
