Great CBT Tool for Working with Children 5 juillet 2005
Par A Child Counselor - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
This is a great and easy to use workbook with a number of very helpful worksheets to present the concepts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to Children. The authors have created a website that allows you to download the worksheets onto your computer to use in a clean and colorful format. If you work with children and use the concepts of CBT, this is a great tool to help children look at the connection between their thoughts and behaviors.

No access to online materials from kindle version 10 décembre 2012

This is not a negative review of content. I purchased kindle version in order to get quick access to all of the online worksheets. Cover of kindle version says it includes online access and price was only $2 less for kindle, so no reason based on price to limit online access to only print book purchasers, yet password to online materials was not in kindle version. I can't print from kindle, so what good is a workbook for kids that they can't use? Spent 20+ minutes on phone with the publisher, but they kept sending me around and around with no solution. Finally just returned it. Very frustrating.

simply nice 11 octobre 2008
Par Anne Crowe - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Broché
This useful tome starts with a simple introduction to CBT for beginners and lots of cool worksheets to use for individual or group therapy. It can be used with kids and young teens and populations with some cognitive delays. Also adaptable for other populations dealing as it does with issues of using thoughts to self-regulate. My population of state wards with PTSD and other issues can learn a lot from the exercises. Fun and easy!

Great CBT Tool for Social Workers 26 janvier 2014
Par Stephanie - Publié sur Amazon.com
Format: Format Kindle Achat vérifié
I work with children/adolescents doing individual therapy. I have found this to be a wonderful tool. It is CBT oriented, but offers fun worksheets and activities to engage children in therapy and increase application. Great for new clinicians as well, as this book is very detailed and offers a good introduction to CBT in the beginning. I use this without the clinicians manual/version just fine. The only reason it isn't getting 5 stars is that some of the worksheets have cartoons geared towards younger kids, which makes it less appealing to a teen.
