All i needed was this last book and now i am complete. Fast shipping and was perfect when arrived. Great for anyone who wants to finish off the Tokyo Mew Mew Series.

I picked these up at my local bookstore, having never read the story before or seen the anime. I was determined to really like it, but there's just too much wrong with it. It mainly has to do with Ichigo and how annoying she is. The other characters are all fine: Mew Lettuce and Mint are my favorites. I also really like the villians: Pie, Tart, Kish.
The premise is awesome, about saving the environment and magical girls who fuse with endangered species, but it all gets wasted on the romance plot, which takes up 90 percent of the storyline. The twist at the end was cool, but I could predict it a mile away.

And the translations are mehhh...I feel like Kodansha is trying too hard and translating the stuff way too literally. The story jumps around a lot and the panels can be really confusing at times, like you're not sure what's going on or who's speaking.

If your a fan of the mew mews this is the best out of all of them! The epic battle that takes up half the books got romance, comedy, and action. They've the mew mew kindergarten part in it too sooooooooo cute!
