From School Library Journal
Grade 3-6-This book presents the state's history, geography, landmarks, natural resources, government, people, and more. The layout is appealing and the text is complemented by sidebars and large color photographs. Maps are included, but several have no captions, so students might find them confusing. The chart of state government is especially helpful. A concluding almanac lists the state bird, flag, animal, and flower, and useful statistics. This book provides plenty of information in an easy-to-read format, and should meet the needs of most students.
