I heard about this book during a coaching-- I am an opera singer in training and thought I would give it a go. If you're looking to fully understand the characters you learn parts for an how they interact with other characters from the opera. Go buy this book! I ended up buying a used copy (I'm a broke graduate student) and found no flaws. Now, GO BUY THIS BOOK! STOP READING AND BUY IT!
