A little book, provide very basic advices about workouts, nutrition, supplements. With lot of detailed WOD programs, for bodyweight, running, or endurance. Useful maybe when going on vocation, you can do these WODs without being in a box.
Not really deep in how female should train, the global idea is just girls should train like men. But for the cheap price, it's a good pocket book

About a month ago at my yoga class I ran into a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in over a year. When I saw her body she looked AWESOME! And this was after the birth of her first child where she'd gained 50 something pounds. I asked her what she was doing and she mentioned CrossFit.

I'd never heard of CrossFit before, but I was impressed by the results. I went home and started learning about it. It was hard to find all the essential details in one central location, which is why I appreciated CrossFit for Her.

I feel like I have an encyclopedia of vital CrossFit details now. It contains all the exercises with a brief description and a link to a video demonstration of the exercise so you can see how it's done (love that!). Plus there are workouts for CrossFit beginners to advanced practitioners. I enjoyed it because it was very to the point... the workouts tell you what exercises to do and you do them. This is definitely for self-starters who don't need to be babied in the gym.

If you're ready to get tight and lean for swimsuit season, without having to spend hours in the gym, I can't imagine a better workout than this one. You'll definitely break a sweat, but I'm telling you the results I've seen with my friend are great.

Reading this has taught me so much about how a female should lift, that information alone is worth the cost of the book, but the author also covers a lot of other information in great detail. I particularly think that the myth that the author puts to rest is a very valuable section, but the author covers so many other things, nutrition, supplements, the history of CrossFit as well as a very in-depth and detailed section on how to do crossfit.

The author covers weightlifting, endurance, acronyms commonly used, which is also extremely beneficial. I feel like I have a complete CrossFit manual with this book, anything you could wonder about it is definitely covered.

The book is well written and well put together. I highly recommend!

Easy to read and informative. Written from the author's personal experience in relation fitness, health and nutrition; the section on myths debunked tackles common myths regarding women and weightlifting and the book comprehensively covers interesting topics such as how women should train, benefits of crossfit exercises, crossfit nutrition and crossfit workouts for beginners. I particularly like that the author included 5 most effective crossfit workouts as Bonus content.

I purchased 3 different crossfit books. After reading through them I realized they were all 3 the same with different covers. I am actually using this one. I was looking for a guide for doing crossfit at home. This book does meet those needs. A little more detail on the workouts would be helpful. I did crossfit at a box for a year and due to a move had to quit. Now trying to do it at home. If the book came with a coach that would be great!
