So, strangely there are more books on amazon.fr (65 809 french of a total of 1 340 875) than on amazon.com (52,000 french of a total of 1,324,515).
Anyway it doesn't seem very important to switch, most of the books being available on both Amazon sites.

I bought the Collins dictionary to use as default on my kindle and yes, as you say, it is very helpful to be able to highlight a word and get the translation straight away, as it makes reading a foreign language so much easier. btw, the Kindle Touch offers a word and phrase/sentence translation between any one of 35 different languages - it's why I love it

abd oddly enough, I can set the French-English dictionaty to be the default enslish dictionry, but if the book is coded as being in french, it won't use it

A few weeks ago I posted about grammatical errors and typos in a self-published eBook - there's currently a discussion on another thread on this subject (in French). Thankfully there are still a lot of people who care about correctly written English and French (the latter being so much more difficult - it seems that the more I learn the more pitfalls I discover!).
