Since discovering Camilla Lackberg's books, I haven't been disappointed. A very good read. I'd say a Swedish version of Elisabeth George, where you enjoy the new story just as much as the continuing lifestory of the main characters.
Before buying this book, I seem to remember reading that it was a return to his "old" style, the one we know and like Douglas Kennedy for. I disagree. I'm on page 190 and am still waiting for the "Kennedy" feeling to appear... Maybe it's coming! However, I'm still enjoying the book and have learnt a lot about Berlin before the wall went down. I do seem to be waiting for the story to "take off" though.
