5.0 étoiles sur 5 You can be better than the professionals..., 21 juin 2003
This is a wondeful book written more than a decade ago by Peter Lynch, the manager of Fidelity Magellan, the most successful mutual fund on Wall Street. The central argument of the book is that small investors could do better than Wall Street simply by paying attention to bussinesses they encounter every day. Stock opportunities can be found at the mall or on the job or by reading newspapers and magazines. The sequel "Beating the street" has the same message and is similarly interesting and easy reading.

I read this book for first time more than 15 years ago and since then every 2-3 years I have been reopening it going through most of its pages. The amazing thing - the story is so brilliantly told, that one feel a desire to reread within a day the same paragraph again and again. Anybody interested in the Meadle east and the birth of Israel should read that book as a base for future research. Don't expect a dry historical account, but rather a vivid story about fellow human beinngs.

This book deserves not 5, but 6 stars. It is the quintessential american novel which is finding some ugly truths that lies beneath the glammor of the American dream. The book is really worth of reading even for the European readrs, who will find in it many answers of recently asked questions. Fabulous

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's greatest plays age. It exists on a mythic level and is so universal and in fact part of our lives. At the same time it is very hard to grasp it. How much control of our lives do we really have? Do bad things happen from our own doing or is there another working force that goes around causing mischief. These are only two of the fundamental questions which the the play is asking. Midsummer Night's dream also features Shakespeare's most beautiful poetry that paints a magical and mystical picture is the mind's eye.
