Jodi Picoult’s Between the Lines got hooked from the opening chapter. It is interesting to be able to relate to, and sympathize with the characters so easily. And the great dialogue and narratives. I like the pattern. Brings to mind the pattern in Janvier Chando’s Splendid Comets. Jodi Picoult's writing style shone here. The characters are imposing and portray unique angles. It is a truly universal story.

I love this. It reminds me of "Splendid Comets", "To Kill a Mocking Bird", and "Lord of The Rings" all in one. I particularly enjoy the melange of different emotions, different characters and colorful scenes. Hats off to Jojo Moyes for a job well done.

I am glad I got to read this work. It is a brilliant piece of art that is well-written and with a superbly constructed story line. The characterization is excellent too and reminds me of Tanya in Splendid Comets. It is also informative. I like to come away from reading a book more informed. Kudos.

I have a hard time putting aside stories that are well-written. The Last Boyfriend continued to prove that I am being lucky with good stories this spring. This emotive, moving and engaging story that flows is told with details that are plentiful. Nora Roberts is plain brilliant with characterization, weaving the characters of the three brothers in ways that are so true to life. The book adds more color to the trilogy in a package that comes with a great plot and masterful story telling. The Last Boyfriend and Ngoko's Folly by Janvier Chando made my weekend an enjoyable one. I definitely will read the complete trilogy. In fact, I am really getting into ghost stories.

The Shop on Blossom Street is a well written piece of work. The characters come across very easily and the quality of her writing is much more refined, which among other things had me hooked to the story. It is one of the many deep stories I have enjoyed. Among others like Splendid Comets, The Good Earth, Madame Bovary. I will keep my eyes open for Debbie Macomber's next story.

Stephen Hunter's The Third , is a well-written book with a depth that I enjoyed. He wrote it in an engaging manner. The prose is excellent and he presented an interesting angle to JFK's assassination. The book is full of intrigues and made the plot exciting, taking the reader across the world in a manner few writers can do. It is not a style we see often. In short, The Third Bullet, and Triple Agent Double Cross, presented the character of a killer in an amazing way that we hardly see around. The insight is fascinating.

This book with an intriguing title and cover is brilliantly executed and shows the depth of the author's resourceful mind. Michael Connelly's imaginative and knowledge are weaved together to create this fascinating plot, brilliant narrative and fast-paced mystery that takes us into the world of police than we have ever known; ie simple folks like us.

This mystery novel with its enlightening story, easy-to-relate-to characters and breath-taking pace rekindles my once waning interest in mystery/thriller books. It reminds me of Triple Agent Double Cross, which holds the breath of the reader until the very end. Connelly is the type of writer to go for.

Great opening chapter to what is an awesome story all the way to the end. This is one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. The odd characters made it all the more funny. Being the first Sedaris book I have read, I am up and ready for more of his stories. He is a witty and humorous writer and reminds me of the funny book The Usurper and Other Stories. The story flows smoothly, backed by a rich choice of words, deep knowledge and excellent descriptions. I am glad I read this book.

This book capped the month of June as my thriller month. All the stories are good---from Black Rain, Triple Agent Double Cross and finally James Patterson's Now You See Her. It is an enjoyable read here. Crafted with a unique style and smooth flow, the story has what it takes to strike a chord with its target readership. It is very original and written with a lyrical and witty touch that made reading it fascinating. The plot is also gripping and the scope of the setting attests to the depth of Patterson's imaginative mind.Overall, this is a well-crafted story.

This story is plain brilliant, with deep and moving characters, lofty ideas and an insight that gets my full respect. The descriptions are vivid, the setting wide and varied, and William Landlay has a good sense of things and knowledge. The connections made between Jacob and Andy Barber, his father, are well observed. The twists and interconnections in the story also reminds me of Triple Agent Double Cross. The story gripped me all the way to the end, made explosive by the final twist in the story.
