This is the third book in this series and if you have not read the other stories yet, then I suggest that you do before reading this one. This is a wonderful series with interesting characters , intrigue, action, and a beautiful love story. I really enjoyed reading Zenya's and Nicholas's story. The beginning is heart-wrenching, because the Author has such a way with words, that I felt as though I was living Nicholas's pain with him! If you have read the other books, you will know that Zenya has also suffered and since she is the only one who can rescue Nicholas from his captor's, you just know she will be suffering more. MY TWISTED DRINK is an interesting read with an interesting twist to the theme of vampire romance.I found myself quite captivated by the character`s and their life stories..... EVEN WHEN AT TIMES I WANTED TO SLAP SOME OF THE THEM! :) It is the sense of the BIZARRE & 'TWISTED' that will keep you FASCINATED by this book, in my opinion. Beware though, because there is a passage that will have you completely confused thinking you passed over a love scene in the beginning of the book......... TRUST ME YOU DID NOT MISS IT! I enjoyed this Sci-Fi Adventure so much, that I have already purchased book 2 'SYN-EN:CULTURE CLASH'. This is an Extremely Interesting story with a lot of Detail to help you Visualize how things might look in this world. You will Sympathize and Root for the character's in this book! Also, if you are like me and enjoy a good romance with your SCI-FI, then this book is for you! ENJOY THE RIDE!
