It was a long time waiting for the next novel, but boy it was well worth every single minute of it. Kind of feeling bad because I read it so quickly though, but really I couldn't help it !

Steve Robinson is such a wonderful storyteller. Mena's story is just so powerful, and it's related in such a beautiful way that it's going to be hard to find a reader who is left stone cold by this character and what she went through. Personally, I still have a big knot in my throat just trying to think about what I've read and what I'm going to write down on my review.

This was a wonderful journey back in time. I felt like I was there, with Mena. I kind of wished that I was there,… Lire la suite
Dark Seduction (English Edition) de Shaun Jeffrey
Once again Shaun delivers a great story, full of action suspense and twists. I'm not really a lover of monsters, but I totally love an evil woman, and Melantha's character totally fulfilled my expectations in this respect, with her thirst for revenge and destruction.

The fast pace kept me interested, and so did the will-he-won't-he... There's never knowing how Shaun's stories are going to end...
It's not my favourite story, but it's still a great read, which will no doubt please the fans of magic, darkness and horror. After zombies, serial killers, gypsies and altogether weird stuff, one wonders what's going to be next, and it's a rather exciting feeling !

!!!!??? (sorry couldn't explain what I'm feeling other than by using words that might not be very appropriate for a public website) :)

Not only could I just not put down the book, but I was totally exhausted from all the actions and emotions ! There isn't a single boring page, and the mix of fright, worry, sadness (I am SO missing Pete), horror and the frantic pace of the story really made reading this book an awesome experience.
One thing is sure, I never ever want to be in Lorne's shoes lol !

A recommended read. I liked Cruel Justice. This one is definitely as good.
