Bien qu'ayant un à priori plutôt négatif, j'ai été très agréablement surpris par ce film ou simplicité rhyme avec humour et bon goût. Le scénario, bien que simple, est bien ficellé, le rhythme du film étonant (pas une minute je n'ai décroché de cette sympatique comédie, dont la morale anti-raciste est un véritable rayon de soleil à l'époque ou l'inégalité est omniprésente dans notre quotidien. I can't help finding some of the review harsh and groundless to say the least. The rise of the lycans is an extraordinary masterpiece :
A breathtaking suspense (all the more respectable considering that we know the denouement), a effective plot (largely inspired by the history of slavery), great acting (among others, hands up for the three main characters), very appropriate use of the amazing special effect) and undeniable consistency with the other films of the cycle. A must see !

Well, when I heard that Vivica was about to release a new album two years ago, I couldn't wait. I've owned the cd for a while now and I've come to the conclusion that Vivica's voice is more beautiful than ever, her technique nothing short of brilliant and all her renditions are in good taste and filled with her strong, yet lovely personality. The only "weakness" of the album, is probably the selection of arias. Why in the world would miss Genaux want to mix Handel and Hasse ? Personaly, I'd have preferred a pure Handel Album, but it's just a matter of personal taste. The bottom line is that mixing the two composer doesn't quite sound right to my ear.
