Set 10 years after the first novel, the title and back cover description promised an exciting tale of revenge, and delivered... no such thing. It turned out that Miranda doesn't even REMEMBER Andrea in this book - not a convincing set up for revenge. I felt expectant the whole book that there was a delightful twist coming, where Miranda would reveal that she had known all along *exactly* who Andrea was, all the while weaving a cunning, clever and devilish revenge plot that would blindside us all. Instead, the characters are weak, the storyline is choppy and the whole reader experience left me feeling flat. A very disappointing effort from Ms. Weisberger. I would not recommend this.
PS: The quality of the binding of the book is also very poor. The pages started falling out about halfway through, and I have had to wrap them with elastic bands attached to the cover with a large elastic in order to finish reading it. Not a good effort from Harper either!
