Good girls fall in love with bad guys!

Usually I'm more a contemporary romance reader. But from time to time, I let myself in a paranormal novel. Often, I'm disappointed by those books.
But, one thing is quite certain, Sweet Evil doesn't belong to these group of books.
First, I've been intrigued by the cover. Let's face it, the cover is really, really important in a book. Most of the time, I decide whether I'm going to read or not a book by its cover.
Then, well who wouldn't be smitten by Kaidan Rowe?! I have just one more word to say about him: H-O-T-T (Note the double T.)
About Anna now. In most paranormal novels I've read, the heroines are courageous. I'll give them that. But mostly, even though I liked the books, the plots, the sexy boys, I found myself frustrated with the heroines who are either selfish or childish, sometimes both.
When it comes to Anna, I'll have to say, she's courageous. She doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger to help others. She has got morals and values that she keeps respecting even though they are in contradiction with her nature. I won't say more about that. I wouldn't like to spoil it for you.
Wendy totally mastered how to keep you guessing and the use of paranormal creatures in ways that you never saw them.
So I'll say one more thing to you reader who don't want to read spoilers: YOU HAVE TO READ THIS.
About the end. I understand that people didn't appreciate the way it ended. But come on, how could have Wendy Higgins done otherwise. Sure, Anna and Kaidan don't end together at the end of these book. But there was so much keeping them apart. Things were getting a little better at the end. And the most important, is that there was HOPE. ;)
Yeah Can't wait to read Sweet Hope!

Sincerely, you have to read it...
At first I was afraid to be bored... angels Vs evil... nothing very original
I feard not to find a real story behind the romance, and not to find new details that had never been told about the subject.
But this was like a hurricane. I felt like Dorothy in Oz, taken in another life. I've been so "in" the story that now I felt like my entire life is a Cliffhanger waiting for the release of the second book.
